Equip Spell Cards that cause useful Card Effects to occur when they are Destroyed:
- "Ancient Gear Tank": Your opponent will take 600 damage, as well as lose their set Spells and Traps
- "Big Bang Shot": Equip it to your opponent's monster, and that monster will be banished when this card destroys "Big Bang Shot".
- "Smoke Grenade of the Thief": You can force your opponent to discard a card, while destroying your opponent's face-downs.
- "Crystal Release": Upon its destruction, "Crystal Release" can move a "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck to the field.
- "Black Pendant": Your opponent will take 500 damage while losing their set Spells and Traps.
- "Horn of the Unicorn" or "Sword of Deep-Seated": Either card will return to the top of your Deck once it is sent to the Graveyard. "Sunlight Unicorn"'s effect can help retrieve it.
- "Fusion Sword Murasame Blade": "Release Restraint Wave" will not destroy this card, but your opponent will still have theie set Spells and Traps destroyed.
- "Magic Formula": Gain 1000 Life Points while destroying your opponent's face-downs.
- "Nordic Relic Draupnir": Once this card is destroyed by "Release Restraint Wave", you can add a "Nordic Relic" card from your Deck to your hand.
- "Cursed Armaments": Upon its destruction, it will be equipped to a monster that your opponent controls.
- "Supervise": After being destroyed, you can Special Summon a Normal Monster (or Gemini monster) from your Graveyard.
- "Vylon" Equip Spell Cards: Once destroyed, you can search out another "Vylon" Spell Card from your Deck, even "Vylon Matter".
- "Power Tool Dragon" can allow you to get a certain Equip Spell Card that can work well with "Release Restraint Wave". This is especially useful if you choose 3 of the same card.
- If you use this card to destroy an Equip Spell Card equipped to "Seven Swords Warrior", you can also destroy 1 of your opponent's face-up monsters.
- You can also destroy Union Monsters for the cost of this card, if they are treated as Equip Spell Cards.
- This card can work well in a Dragunity Deck, since many of the monsters in this archetype can equip themselves to other monsters.
- "Dragunity Aklys", if equipped by its own effect, can destroy another card on the field if this card destroys it.
- Use "Magic Reflector" to keep your Equip Spell Card on the field.
- Destroy "Archfiend of Gilfer" with this card while it is equipped to an opponent's monster, and you can equip it to another monster when it is sent to the Graveyard, while also destroying your opponent's set Spells and Traps.
- This card can be very useful with the "Inzektor" archetype as it can be used to activate the effects of "Inzektor Centipede" and "Inzektor Dragonfly".
- This card can be very useful with any "Noble Arms" card in a "Noble Knight" deck, because when they are destroyed they can be re-equiped to the Noble Knight monster they were equipped.
- Use the above tip if it is the first time you are destroying the selected equip spell card.
- If you destroy a "Noble Arms - Gallatin" with this effect you can reset the 1000 ATK bonus re-equipping the card.
- You can use this card in a "Red-Eyes" Deck if you run "Black Metal Dragon" or "Red-Eyes Baby Dragon".
