- In a Felgrand or Blue-Eyes deck, use this to discard dragons whose effects activate in the Graveyard, such as "Arkbrave Dragon" or "The White Stone of Ancients".
- This card's effect will work well with "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon", "Dark Paladin", "Buster Blader", and "Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman", as well any monster equipped with "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword".
- If you are setting up any of those strategies, "Trap Stun" or a face-up "Mirage Dragon" help greatly by keeping Traps fron spoiling the massive attack strafe, especially if you are planning to land a finishing blow.
