Card Tips:Strong Wind Dragon
- This card can be searched by "Wynn the Wind Channeler", "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms", "Return of the Monarchs", "Han-Shi Kyudo Spirit", "Armed Dragon Thunder LV5", "Starliege Seyfert", "Bystial Magnamhut", "Ehther the Heavenly Monarch", "Knight of Armor Dragon", "Draconnection", "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum", "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres", "Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation", "Dragonic Guard", "Wynn the Wind Charmer, Verdant", "Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- "Vice Dragon" can be easily Special Summoned and Tributed to Summon "Strong Wind Dragon" on the same turn giving it 3400 ATK.
- Combining "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" and "D. Tribe" or "DNA Surgery" can allow you to sacrifice that card easily, giving this card 3800 ATK points.
- If your opponent Special Summons a monster, Special Summon "Phantom Dragon" with its own effect, and then Tribute it to summon this card on your next turn.
- As long as you don't Tribute a monster with more than 4700 ATK for this card's summon, "Strong Wind Dragon" will always be stronger than its Tributed monster.
- If you have "Totem Dragon" in your Graveyard, with no other monsters on the field during your Standby Phase, Special Summon it to the field. Then banish it to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", Special Summon any Dragon-type monster, then sacrifice "Red-Eyes" to Summon "Strong Wind Dragon". You will have a 3800 ATK Dragon (2800/2 +2400 = 3800) with a piercing ability, or sacrifice the Special Summoned Dragon to have two very strong Dragons on the field.
- This card's attack, combined with its first effect can easily take down any one of the "Monarchs".
- When a monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon "Interplanetarypurplythorny Dragon", then tribute it for this card at the next opportunity you get for a monster with 3500 ATK.
- You can use "Dragonic Knight" in a similar way for a 3800 ATK monster, but under much more limited circumstances.
