Card Tips:The Fountain in the Sky
- This card can be searched by "Rogue of Endymion", "Watch Cat", "Watch Dog", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- This card is very useful in "Counter Fairy" Decks, especially for filling your Life Points after using cards such as "Solemn Judgment" and "Seven Tools of the Bandit".
- This card can be useful in a Blue-Eyes deck, as nearly all those monsters are LIGHT and their high ATK can be useful if LPs are desperately needed.
- If you combine this card with 2 Dimensional Alchemist and a Supply Squad, by using it to banish an alchemist to gain LPs, and then use the second one to retrieve him and so on, (chain the effect of Fountain to alchemist's after it is destroyed and sent to grave) you can gain some advantage.
- You can recall monsters lost to this card's effect with "D.D.M. - Different Dimension Master", "Lightray Sorcerer" or "Light of Redemption".
- Because this card will banish all of your LIGHT monsters that are destroyed by battle, you can easily set up a game-winning "Return from the Different Dimension" or Dimension Fusion especially if high ATK monsters are banished you can pay the maintenance cost.
- It's also useful for inflicting more damage when activating the effect of "The Agent of Judgment - Saturn".
- Use with "The Sanctuary in the Sky" so that rather than taking damage when your monster is destroyed, you also gain Life Points.
- Use with "Soul Absorption".
- You could bring the monster back (if it was a Fairy-Type) with "The Agent of Miracles - Jupiter".
- You can gain lots of Life Points doing the following combo: with "The Sanctuary in the Sky" face-up, if you control "Nova Summoner" or "Shining Angel" attack your opponent's strongest monster, then yours will be destroyed. Activate its effect Special Summoning another "Nova Summoner" or "Shining Angel" and banish the destroyed monster using "The Fountain in the Sky". Attack again, and repeat the process. Remember, "Nova Summoner" and "Shining Angel" can special summon each other. It will give you at least 6 monsters to banish so you can gain 8400 Life Points.
- When doing this after Summoning your last "Nova Summoner" or "Shining Angel", attack with it, then Special Summon "The Agent of Force - Mars". Since "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is face-up "Mars" may get a huge ATK boost, as would "Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin" and "Ancient Sacred Wyvern".
- This card can facilitate the use of "Mausoleum of the Emperor", "Star Blast", "Ancient Leaf" and other such cards.
- "Layard the Liberator" and "Miraculous Descent" are useful to get back some of your banished monsters.
- This card will be an excellent choice for a LIGHT themed "Elemental HERO" Deck since a large amount of "Elemental HERO" LIGHT Monsters have high ATK ("Elemental HERO Neos") and good effects ("Elemental HERO Prisma").
- In an "Arcana Force" Deck, in addition to "Light Barrier", you will gain Life Points when destroying your opponent's monsters and when they destroy yours by battle.
