Card Tips:The Weather Painter Rainbow
Link Summoning[edit]
- "Inferno Reckless Summon" can quickly gather the materials necessary to Summon this card, by Summoning either "The Weather Painter Snow", "The Weather Painter Cloud", or "The Weather Painter Rain". It can be activated during your Standby Phase, when any of these monsters Special Summon themselves.
- "The Weather Sunny Canvas", when coupled with cards like "Brilliant Fusion" or "Dragonoid Generator", can also helps gathering the necessary monsters. They can also help filling the zones this card's points to, in order to maximize the output.
- However, using "Dragonoid Generator" prevents your Extra Deck Summoning for the rest of that turn, so consider cards that will protect your Summoning monsters from harm, or place them within your "The Weather […] Canvas" cards' coverage to ensure their survival (preferably "The Weather Snowy Canvas" or "The Weather Thundery Canvas").
- "The Weather Painter Sun" can Special Summon itself from your GY, slightly making this card's Summon easier.
- Cards like "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen", "Double Summon", or even "Chain Summoning" allows you to Summon additional monsters when necessary.
- Use the effect of "Big Whale", Special Summon 3 copies of "The Weather Painter Rain" to Link Summon this card instantly.
General Tips[edit]
- To protect whichever "The Weather" monster this card points to (in case your opponent tries to clear those monsters through battle), place "The Weather Thundery Canvas" in the same column as this card.
- Placing "The Weather Painter Snow" in the zones this card points to (Defense Position) is also good, since 2200 DEF makes her even harder to breach.
- If you control "The Weather Sunny Canvas" you can use it's granted effect to Summon more "The Weather" monster to whichever zone this card's points to (even during your opponent's turn) to add more negations.
- Cards like "Celestial Transformation", "Miraculous Descent" and "Call of the Haunted" also works for this feat.
- Have "The Weather Painter Aurora" on your field to protect your "The Weather" Spells/Traps, so that you can be more selective on which of your opponent's card effect to negate. For efficiency, you can place "Aurora" outside of this card's coverage to prevent your opponent baiting you to banishing "Aurora", thus removing her protection.
- Because of this card's effect mechanism (how it actually works), cards like "Solemn Strike", "Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit", and "Herald of Perfection" are (directly) ineffective against this card's negation effect (except her Special Summon negation). Even if they're activated in response to whichever monster banished for this card's negation effect, they can still Special Summon themselves during the next Standby Phase, rendering those cards moot while leaving this card unharmed.
- If you manage to fill all of your Main Monster Zones, you can even prevent any Kaiju monster from outing this card easily (or at least, forcing your opponent to take at least one negation in order to do so).
