- This card can be searched by "Three-Eyed Ghost", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Chaos Zone", and other generic searchers.
- Use cards like "Giant Germ", "Phantom Skyblaster", "Gilasaurus", "Spear Cretin", and "Nimble Momonga" to help you Summon this card.
- "Xing Zhen Hu" and "Anti-Spell Fragrance" can increase the number of Spell and Trap card on the opponent's field.
- "Foolish Revival" or "Ceruli, Guru of Dark World" Special Summon to the opponent's field, which can boost this monster's ATK and DEF.
- Use lockdown-type monsters like "Invitation to a Dark Sleep" to prevent your opponent's monsters from destroying your monsters needed to Tribute Summon "The Wicked Eraser".
- Use this card in combination with "Felgrand Dragon" while having a revival card, like "Monster Reborn" or "Decoy Dragon". Use "The Wicked Eraser's" effect to clear the field, then revive "Felgrand Dragon" for a direct attack with 4200 attack points.
- Use this card's self destruct effect to bring out higher level "Yubel" forms.
- "Thunder Crash", "Ring of Destruction", "Dragonic Diagram", "Fire King Island", and "Destruction Ring" can trigger this card's effect, while giving its owner advantage ("Diagram" and "Island") or inflicting damage ("Thunder" and "Ring)".
- Summon a "Grinder Golem", and this way you will have 2 extra monsters so that you can Tribute Summon this card and your opponent will have one more card increasing "The Wicked Eraser" attack.
- Use cards with this monster's destruction effect like "Dark Coffin" to destroy your opponents hand, or, "Statue of the Wicked" in order to summon another wicked god.
- Use this card's Effect with "Light and Darkness Dragon" as a last resort to obliterate every card on the field and to revive a monster.
- DO NOT use this card with "Hardened Armed Dragon", as you will not be able to self destruct.
- Your opponent can weaken Eraser by activating Set Spell/Trap Cards that are sent to the Graveyard afterwards. Prevent this with "Xing Zhen Hu", "Xing Zhen Hu Replica", "Penalty Game!'s" second effect, or "Forced Ceasefire".
- Use this with "Geartown" for an instant 3000 ATK "Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon" with a clear field.
- A way to get around this cards nuke effect, assuming your opponent didn't use it right after its summon, is to use "Dark End Dragon" since he "sends" cards to the grave and doesn't destroy them.
- When used in conjunction with "Ojama Trio", you well automatically gain 3000 ATK and your opponent will lose 900 LP when you nuke the field.
- This card can gain a maximum of 13000 ATK and DEF via its own effect: 5 monsters in the Main Monster Zones, 5 Spells/Traps in the Spell & Trap and/or Pendulum Zones, 1 Field Spell in the Field Zone, and 2 monsters in the Extra Monster Zones.
Traditional Format[edit]
- Use this card in combination with "Ultimate Offering", "Ring of Destruction" and "Ring of Defense" near the beginning of the game while your opponent has 4 or more cards on their side of the field for an instant T.K.O.. Note: Depending on how many life points are started out with you may need to adjust the number of cards you will need your opponent to have on their side of the field.
