- This card can be searched by "Reinforcement of the Army", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Exchange of Night and Day", "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun", "Arcana Extra Joker", "Wake Up Your Elemental HERO", "Iron Knight", "Freed the Matchless General", "Field-Commander Rahz", "Creeping Darkness", "Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy", "Dark General Freed", "Chaos Zone", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- "Swords of Concealing Light" can be used to switch all the opponent's monsters to Defense Position and prevent them switching them back to Attack Position for the next 2 turns, potentially enabling "Twin-Sword Marauder" to use its effects multiple times. Another card that also works in this situation, though not quite as effectively, is "Earthquake", changing all monsters on the field to defense position, and "Kunai with Chain", changing an attacking monster to defense position by negating an attack and increasing "Twin-Sword Marauder's" attack to 2100, setting up for some major damage.

- Combo "Twin-Sword Marauder" with "Robbin' Goblin", that way your opponent will discard lot of cards from their hand.
- Combo this monster with "Armor Breaker".
- This card works great against cards like "Spirit Reaper" and "Marshmallon" since they cannot be destroyed by Battle and are usually placed in Defense Position.
- You can use "Allure of Darkness" with him.
- Use this card to make your opponent regret activating Token cards. Most Token cards (like "Scapegoat") have 0 DEF.
- Equip this monster with "Rainbow Veil" for attacking, cause damage and negate effects too, thus creating an almost unstoppable attacking monster.
- Even if the first attack doesn't destroy the monster, you still can attack a second time on a different monster, or, in the case of "Dark Resonator" or "Fortress Warrior", finish the first monster.
- This card works extremely well with "Dream Clown" in a deck that depends on "Stumbling" or "Zero Gravity".
- With the help of "Curse of Anubis", "Twin-Sword Marauder" can destroy 2 of the opponent's monsters easily and can even deal 3200 damage or even more if "Twin-Sword Marauder's" Attack is raised.
- This card works well with "Ojama Trio" for some quick damage.
- This card is also ideal for "Scapegoat" countering, as it can deal 3200 life points in damage each turn for 2 turns.
- Banish this card for the effect for "Hundred Eyes Dragon", so that it become a ATK 3000 Piercing-Multiple Attacker.
