Card Tips:Wattpheasant
- This card can be searched by "Wattkingdom", "Wattrain", "Wattcobra", "Wattdragonfly", "Brohunder", "Thunder Sea Horse", "Thunder Dragon Fusion", "Thunder Dragonduo", "Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous", "Shining Angel", "Shadow's Light", "Toy Soldier", "Chaos Zone", "Photon Veil", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- Use the effect of "Wattpheasant" to banish your monster that you lost control over (e.g."Creature Swap") to return it to YOUR side of the field during the End Phase.
- Use this card to banish an opponent's monster by attacking directly, potentially leaving the field open so your other monsters can attack directly. This is especially useful with monsters like "X-Saber Airbellum", "Wattberyx" and "Don Zaloog".
- Banish an opponent's monster such as "Montage Dragon" or "Megarock Dragon" so that its attack will become 0 when it returns to the field.
- Banish a "Beast King Barbaros" or a "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" that was summoned without a trubute that you control so it will return with it's original attack.
- This card works well with the second effect of "Necroface" and the second effect of "Fortune Lady Light".
- During your Main Phase 2, activate "Ground Collapse" or "Ojama Trio", or Normal Summon "Numbing Grub in the Ice Barrier" to prevent the banished monster from being able to return to the field.
- If you Special Summoned a monster using the effect of a card such as "Wattkeeper" or "Return of the Six Samurai" and banish that monster using this card's effect, it will not be destroyed during the End Phase.
- Banish a monster equipped with a Union Monster or an Equip Spell Card to destroy the Union Monster/Spell Card.
- Banish an Xyz Monster to detach all of its Xyz Materials.
- You can then use "Galaxy Storm" to destroy that monster as soon as it returns to the field.
- Banish a card such as "Stardust Dragon" or "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En" to regain the ability to use a card that would destroy a card on the field, or activate Spell and/or Trap Cards until the End Phase.
- This card can be useful in a "Wind-Up" Deck. If a Wind-Up monster is banished from the field by this card's effect, its effect resets when it is returned to the field during the End Phase.
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be searched by "Last Will".* Banish a monster equipped with a card such as "Call of the Haunted" or "Limit Reverse" to have that card be stuck on the field, serving no purpose. This can either be used to partially restrict your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zone, to be reused with the effect of a card such as "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" or to protect your own monster (they will no longer be binded to the effects of the Continuous Trap Cards).
