• This card can be searched by "Generation Force", "Xyz Force", "Astraltopia", "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.

• Note that this card's first effect can also affect your opponent's Xyz Monster too. If your Xyz Monster with 2 or more materials battles another Xyz Monster with 2 or more materials, then your opponent's monster, if it survived the battle, will not be destroyed by this card's effect.

• Use "Numbers Overlay Boost" to recharge your spent Xyz Material and remain protected by "Xyz Tribalrivals".

• Note that this card also destroys your opponent's monsters after damage calculation. This means that if your Xyz Monsters destroy monsters that would activate an effect(s) after being destroyed by battle, such as "Shining Angel", "Gigantes", "Pyramid Turtle", "Machina Fortress", "Grave Squirmer", etc, their effects will not be activated. It's important to note, as well, that this card will destroy any monster that cannot be destroyed by battle, such as "Gellenduo", "Marshmallon", "X-Saber Pashuul", "Five-Headed Dragon", etc.
  • Don't forget that this card's first effect is applied to your opponent's Xyz Monsters too, so if a "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon" is attacked, it will not be destroyed by this card's effect — if it has 2 or more materials attached to it.

• Combine this with "Slacker Magician" alongside with "The Dark Door" to make her almost indestructible. Or, take advantage of her low ATK and use her in conjunction with this card and "Spirit Barrier" to destroy monsters at your leisure and keep your LP safe.
  • By adding "Secret Village of the Spellcasters", this lock can be protected from cards like "Mystical Space Typhoon" and "Heavy Storm".

• This card works greatly well with "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon":
  • While having 2 or more materials, it will not be destroyed by card effects, so its banishing effect can be kept being used. When it have 1 remaining material, this card won't protect it anymore, which is good, once when destroyed as long as it have an material attached to it, its self-Special Summoning effect will activate and it will return to the field with a huge ATK boost.
  • These cards also get along as "Tribalrivals" destroys the monsters "Heart-eartH Dragon" battles, so when it attack a strong monster, it will not only deal a heavy damage, but also destroy the attacked monster.

• This card works well with "Number 9: Dyson Sphere", as it can protect itself against attacks and this card against effect destruction.

• When a monster is Xyz Summoned, there is no worry about cards like "Bottomless Trap Hole" that would destroy it.
  • Even better, this card can be chained to the activation of a card like "Torrential Tribute" (when a monster is Summoned) and "Mirror Force" (when attacked), making your opponent waste resources.

• Cards with mass-destruction effects like "Dark Hole" or "Torrential Tribute" can also be used to destroy only your opponent's monsters.

• When using this card with "Mermail Abysstrite", she can stay destruction-proof for a long period of time, drawing in Attacks with her effect and causing any monster that attacks her to be destroyed.

• This card can work quite well with Xyz Monsters that do not use their materials like "Gem-Knight Pearl", "Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger", and "Gagagigo the Risen".

• A monster Summoned by using "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" a few times can amass a lot of materials and be a good candidate for this card.

Traditional Format

• "Number 16: Shock Master" (while still having 3 materials) can use its effect to protect this card against Spells like "Mystical Space Typhoon", while being protected itself against destructing Traps like "Mirror Force". "Overlay Eater" can be used to replenish its materials, while taking them from your opponent's Xyz Monsters, making them vulnerable.
