Horus[edit]

Okay, I don't get it. Why is it more beneficial to get Horus LV6 and then Level Up! into Horus LV8 instead of going directly to Horus LV8? --Crab Helmet 06:16, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Horus LV8 wouldn't be affected by Level Modulation's "cannot attack" clause because it wasn't the same monster that was Special Summoned by it's effect. BlueEyesWhiteDragon 10:37, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

Appropriate[edit]

Why do people keep re-adding an incorrect tip that you can use this card with "Appropriate"? You can't. Appropriate misses the timing as a result of the drawing not being the last thing to happen in the card. Just as how Dark Magician of Chaos cannot retrieve a spell card from the graveyard if it summoned by the effect of Magical Dimension and chooses to destroy a monster. Dark World Dealings is another similar case in that Appropriate has no correct place to draw the extra cards as immediately after drawing a card, the next effect in the resolution of the card causes Appropriate to be Missing the Timing.

Falzar said something about Mandatory Trigger Effect if it is already Face-up (maybe he can respond on here and expand when it comes to "Appropriate"). Shardsilver (talkcontribs) 16:27, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

There are also two rulings at (obvious place) Card Rulings:Appropriate: "Your opponent cannot activate "Appropriate" after you activate "Graceful Charity" since the last effect that resolves with "Graceful Charity" is discarding, not drawing, and your opponent misses the timing. But if your opponent already has an active "Appropriate" face-up on the field, he/she can draw 2 cards after you activate "Graceful Charity". "
"he effect of "Upstart Goblin" resolves as one effect wherein you draw a card and afterwards recover your opponent's Life Points. The resolution does not end with drawing a card, so after "Upstart Goblin" resolves a face-down "Appropriate" cannot be activated. Also, if "Appropriate" has already been activated and is face-up on the field, then you draw two cards after resolving the effect of "Upstart Goblin"."
