- This card is the Zombie counterpart of "Zanki".
- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime, this monster was not a physical card, but rather "Zanki" affected by "Call of the Haunted".
- Later in the anime, this card was seen as a Normal Monster, like in the OCG/TCG.
- This card, "Clown Zombie" and "Dragon Zombie" are the only Zombie counterparts to have two less Levels than their original counterparts.
