• This is one of the cover cards of Booster SP: Raging Masters.

• This is the first "D/D/D" Synchro Monster.

• Unlike "D/D/D Flame King Genghis" or "D/D/D Wave King Caesar", this card does not have any effect related to "Dark Contract" cards.
  • It is also the only one of the trio that has one effect in the OCG: its anime version originally had two.

• This card is named after Alexander III of Macedon, also known as Alexander the Great; famed for forging an empire that ran from Greece to Egypt and into present-day Pakistan. He was undefeated in battle and is considered one of history's most successful commanders.

• This monster's Attribute, ATK and DEF, and its design are similar to "Stardust Dragon".
  • It also bears a remarkable resemblance to "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", even sharing its Level.

• This card has an upgraded form: "D/D/D Gust High King Alexander".
