Card Trivia:Goyo Guardian
- This monster is holding the same weapon that "Jutte Fighter" wields, a Jutte. This may reference this card's debut in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, in which Tetsu Trudge first Synchro Summoned it by Tuning one of his "Gate Blockers" with "Jutte Fighter".
- The kanji behind this monster's name, 御用 (Goyou), means "imperial use" or "patronage".
- Although this is the literal meaning of the kanji, it's also worth noting that "Goyou" has a secondary meaning of "arrest", "apprehension" or "capture". Given that this monster literally captures the opponent's monsters, is characterized as a police officer, and is used by a member of Sector Security, this may be the intent behind the name. In Duel Links, several of Trudge's Skills that are designed to work well with this card, such as You're Under Arrest! and Parole!, may be connected to this theme.
