- This is a Cover card of Dragons of Legend.
- This monster bears a resemblance to Yami Yugi with a scar over one eye. In the anime, his voice actor is also the same as Yami Yugi's.
- This card's Spell-banishing effect is a reference to how when it was Summoned in the anime, Dartz's "Orichalcos Tritos" was immediately wiped out. Meanwhile, in the TCG/OCG, banishing is the most efficient way to remove "The Seal of Orichalcos" from the field (as it can protect itself from destruction).
- In the anime, this was the only Legendary Knight to be destroyed more than one time.
- A warrior that resembles this card makes an appearance in "Mirage Ruler".
