  • Both also have a similar Japanese name: "Saint Magician" (聖なる魔術師（セイント・マジシャン） Seinto Majishan) for this card and "Saint Disenchanter" for "Disenchanter" (聖なる解呪師（セイント・ディスエンチャンター） Seinto Disuenchantā).

• The runes on this monster's staff are distorted versions of letters of the Latin alphabet; they spell "MINARAI MAJISUAN" (Minarai Majishan), which means "Apprentice Magician" in Japanese.

• In the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, this was Tea Gardner's favorite card.

• This card's position on the Forbidden/Limited List has changed seven times, behind only "Nobleman of Crossout" with eight and "Chaos Sorcerer" with nine.
