  • This card is the "Malefic" counterpart to "Stardust Dragon".
  • This monster's pose in this card's artwork mirrors that of the artwork of "Stardust Dragon", albeit reversed, referencing its corruption and resembling Paradox' version of the card. Also, its pose bears some resemblance to that of the artwork of "Red Dragon Archfiend".
  • This card is currently the only "Malefic" counterpart to have an effect besides the usual limitations that the other "Malefic" monsters have.
    • This card is the only "Malefic" monster that prevents Field Spell Cards from being destroyed.
  • This card's first and third effects (not including Summoning conditions) are similar to the "Earthbound Immortals'" shared effects:
    • "Earthbound Immortal": There can only be one face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field.
    • "Malefic" monster: There can only be one face-up "Malefic" monster on the field.
    • Both: This card is destroyed if there isn't a face-up Field Spell Card.
  • This is the only "Malefic" monster that has a mask, knee, torso, and wing armor. All the other "Malefic" monsters have only masks and wing armor.
  • This is the only counterpart of "Stardust Dragon" that is a DARK monster.
  • This card's artwork background is the same as the artwork background of "Stardust Dragon", only reversed and inverted.
    • "Stardust Dragon's" artwork has green at the bottom, as "Malefic Stardust Dragon's" one has purple.
      • This is most likely a reference to their Attributes (WIND and DARK, respectively).
