Colorful rares, sometimes referred to as "Special [color] version", are cards with a foil name, which use a color of foil for their names other than the standard silver or gold. The term "colorful rare" comes from the rarity ratios listed on card packs, which mention "colorful Ultra Rares". A number of colors have appeared to date: black, white, blue, green, purple, copper, silver, wedgewood (light blue), and red.
