Dinosaur Ryuzaki and Insector Haga faced each other in the final Duel of the the Japanese National Duel Monsters Championship in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.
Ryuzaki, the champion of West Japan was 15 at the time, while Haga, the champion of East Japan was 14. The Duel took place in a Battle Box and was televised.

The Duel[edit]
Ryuzaki's turn
Ryuzaki Summoned "Two-Headed King Rex" and Haga countered with "Basic Insect".
"Two-Headed King Rex" attacked "Basic Insect", but Weevil activated "Infinite Dismissal", negating the attack.
Weevil's turn
Weevil equipped "Basic Insect" with "Insect Gun Armor", raising its ATK to 2000.
"Basic Insect" attacked and destroyed "Two-Headed King Rex" (Ryuzaki: 0 Life Points), winning the Duel for Haga.
Aftermath[edit]
Maximillion J. Pegasus presented Haga with the trophy for winning the tournament and invited him to take part in his upcoming Duelist Kingdom tournament.
