EX-R Starter Box |
The EX-R Starter Box is the first Series 2 Starter Deck, released on November 23, 2000. Like all Series 2 sets, it was only released in Japan, though it formed the basis for the later Yugi and Kaiba Starter Decks in South Korea and the TCG, with all 87 cards being released in these sets. Sealed copies of this set also contained a "Duel Master's Guide" VHS.
It includes the same cards as EX Starter Box, although in different rarities and with two additional cards: "Card Destruction" and "Soul Exchange".
