Parts of the event are taken from [[Trey]]'s Duel with [[Yuma Tsukumo]] in episodes [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 047|47]] to [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 049|49]] of the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL]]'' anime. It allows the player to unlock [[Trey (Duel Links)|Trey]] as a playable character.

During this event, the player earns Golden Jets by Dueling in Duel World (except at the [[Gate]] or against [[The Vagrant]]) or Ranked Duels. The first two times the player earns Golden Jets from a Duel per day, they receive 10 bonus Golden Jets.

Trey initially appears with his Level 10 Deck in Duel World (ZEXAL). After defeating him, he will start to appear in Duel World (ZEXAL); this appearance is time-based. He can also be Dueled against at the Gate once the player has completed Special Episode #1. At first, he will only be able to be challenged at Level 10. To challenge him at higher Levels (up to Level 40), the player needs to defeat him at least once at the highest available Level (e.g. he needs to be defeated at Level 10 before he can be challenged at Level 20).

In order to challenge Trey at a certain Level, the player needs to spend a corresponding amount of Golden Jets, which is as follows:

===Special Episodes===
Special Episodes are made available throughout the course of the event. Once a Special Episode is available, the player can unlock it by fulfilling its unlock condition. With the exception of the first Special Episode, each Special Episode is unlocked by collecting a sufficient number of Event Points and completing the previous Special Episode.

When a Special Episode is unlocked, a special character will spawn in Duel World (ZEXAL). The character appears as an opponent who does not provide any Duel Rewards. After defeating them, the episode is completed, and a cutscene plays. During the event, previously viewed cutscenes can be watched again from the Scene Album on the event page.
