Hello, I am in a little bit of a pickle with the following cards.
I was wondering, as the Black Ptera is returned to the hand if sent to the graveyard it may trigger of the effect of Major Riot? I am not sure if it would or not as it states "sent from the field to the graveyard" but it then says "it is retuend to the owner's hand". The Major Riot states the card must come from the field to the hand, so I confused if the Black Ptera effect would then trigger off Major Riot? Thank you very much for reading and I hope you can help me with this problem :)

No, Major Riot does not activate because it says that it is going from the field to the hand, but Black Ptera says that is is going from the field to the graveyard then to the hand. As a result, Major Riot cannot be activated.
