Forum:'Amazoness Swords Woman', 'Begone, Knave!', and WC10

1. Opponent activates Begone, Knave!.
2. A few turns pass, things happen. (Begone, Knave! still face-up on the field).
3. I attack a Set monster with Amazoness Swords Woman.
4. Flip: Charcoal Inpachi.
3. Opponent loses 600 LP.
4. Opponent's Begone, Knave! activates.
5. Charcoal Inpachi returned to opponent's hand.

Huh? That was unexpected. What I expected was Begone, Knave! to send Amazoness Swords Woman back to my hand, since it was its effect that caused my opponent to lose LP. It seems as if WC10 interpreted it as Charcoal Inpachi causing my opponent to lose LP since it defended the attack. So, my question is, was WC10 right in sending Charcoal Inpachi to my opponent's hand, or should my Amazoness Swords Woman have been returned to my hand instead?

No the game was right, all your Amazoness did was change the target of who would take the battle damage. It was still Charcoal Inpachi which did the damage and Begone, Knave doesn't care who gets hurt only who did the hurting and in this case it was Charcoal Inpachi, so he went back to the hand.--The FireFALL (talkcontribs) 05:21, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
