According to the rulings page for 8-Claws Scorpion you can turn it into face down defense position once per turn, I know that means the card owner's turn, my question is this can I utilize it's effect against a face down defense position monster then switch it to face down defense, and then my next turn do the same thing again?
ie: I summon 8-Claws Scorpion to the field, and attack my opponents face down Junk Synchron thus turning scorpion's attack to 2400 during the damage calculation, I then turn 8-Claws Scorpion into face down defense. Somehow, the card stays there, until my next turn, and I flip it into attack position, utilize it to attack another face down and then flip it back to face down defense on my next turn.
If it does that, and I have Prickle Fairy on the field, in face up defense does Prickle Fairy's effect work, since my opponent knows that 8-Claws Scorpion is an insect?

Even though your opponent knows the monster is 8-Claws Scorpion, Prickle Fairy's effect would not work, seeing as your 8-Claws Scorpion is not a revealed insect, but is face-down instead. — This unsigned comment was made by Marco64 (talk • contribs) 17:40, 2 May 2009
