See Forum:Deck Guide/General, sign your posts with ~~~~, and use Template:Decklist. Here's a few problems: you can't win in defense. I'd highly suggest turning this into an offensive deck. Also, you use a lot of not-so-good cards: Negate Attack, Magic Cylinder, A Hero Emerges, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Thunder of Ruler, Kunai with Chain, Nightmare Wheel, Shadow Spell, Cyber Shadow Gardna, Rock Bombardment (usually), and Draining Shield are bad cards. You don't need Sakuretsu Armor-Dimensional Prison is far, far, better. Also, you don't use duplicates. Which is necessary. Or a lot of staples. Which are even more important: Torrential Tribute, Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, two or three Mystical Space Typhoon, Solemn Judgment, and two Solemn Warning. As for the spells, Monster Reincarnation is bad in most decks, Card Trader is useless, Solidarity is unnecessary, United We Stand is bad, and Shield and Sword is bad. Somethings you said were right and others wrong.First i can win in defence as this deck have offensive cards like power giant and i did try it out and it works well actually as it kinda locks the opponent also magic cylinder and these cards aren't bad also card trader gives me a chance if i draw a wrong card. but ofcourse torrential tribute dark hole mystical space typhoon are important but i kinda forgot them while making this deck cuz there is a big amount of cards needed for anything also dublicates won't help in this deck much and solidarity-united we stand- shield and sword aren't bad cuz with united we stand i get an 800 ATK boost for each monster on my field and since this deck is kinda stall it can have manymonsters on the field and if you readed well you would find that i already have skaretsu armor and dimensional prison.Anyway thanks for your help i will add these cards too. Actually, no. Especially not this new format. Magic Cylinder is a debatable card but it's better to get a +1 then deal damage. Yes, Dupllicates will help. Your Spells are bad-always go for card advantage (unless you're negating effects or stopping Synchro Summons, not ATK and DEF boosts. I'm saying to take out Sakuretsu Armor in favor of the far better Dimensional Prison. Card Trader is just bad. I've used it. It doesn't work. Especially in a format where you have Heavy Storm and three Mystical Space Typhoon. And it's always worth maxing out on the best cards. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 23:51, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

I'm siding with this disagreeable cot'n'picker. "Power Giant" is not a good offensive card. You can't "lock" the opponent if you have no way of negating destruction effects. If "Card Trader" was replaced with another, problem-solving-er card, you would have drawn that one instead of "Card Trader". The boost from "United We Stand" adds power, but it is frail because it is an Equip Spell Card and depends on the monster staying alive to work. "Sword and Shield" works only once, making it less effective than "Ceasefire".
Don't run any "Sakuretsu Armor" unless you're already running 3 "Dimensional Prison". Use staples, and then add inessential cards if there's room.
Several cards that you're running are only good for one or two situations. This is bad. I suggest using cards that are good in many situations. Don't use "Sand Moth", "Giant Soldier of Stone", "Granmarg the Rock Monarch", "Mine Golem", "Castle Gate", or "Power Giant", as they are outclassed.
If you want to stick to defense, perhaps some "Legendary Jujitsu Master" and "Guardian Sphinx"?

You guys don't know what you're talking about

It's perfectly possible to run an incredible defensive deck, but you really are doing it wrong. Don't try to combine Defense and Offense. It doesn't work. Here's something I've built:

This was a rush job, and definitely not my best work, but it works. Nearly all of the monsters are designed to deflect damage when attacked, though Mole, Pachycephalo, Morphing Jar and Gyzarus are in there for their awesome effects, and Megarock because you need a win condition. The spells either lower your opponent's attacks or punish them for attacking, or are Monster Reborn. Fairy Box also lowers ATK, and Battle Mania 'persuades' your opponent to launch attacks that aren't in their favour.

If you have any questions about the deck, I'd be happy to answer them. Battlemaniac (talkcontribs) 21:16, September 10, 2011 (UTC)
