Forum:A few ruling questions

First off is Divine Wrath, can Divine Wrath be used to stop the special summon from the hand of a card like Cyber Dragon?

Second is monsters that can be special summoned, like Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin. Now can Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin be special summoned from your deck or does it have to be the hand, another example is Dark Armed Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon.

Third is synchro summoning. Can you synchro summon during your battle phase? if you could do that then you could theoretically special summon any of the V-Z fusions correct during the battle phase since they don't require a card to be played?

Thank you for any help. Pyles89 04:14, October 17, 2009 (UTC)Pyles89

1)No,you can only use Divine Wrath on effects that start a chain(summoning effects do not start a chain).

2)No,it has to be in hand.

3)No, unless you use Urgent Tuning.

  • For XYZ or VWXYZ fusion, they're required to be in Main Phase (and 2) only to fusion summon. The quick-play spell card, Super Polymerization, can do same way as Urgent Tuning did. FredCat100 15:28, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

Note that "Super Polymerization" cannot Fusion Summon "XYZ-Dragon Cannon", etc, since monsters like that are Special Summoned by their conditions, not by a Fusion Summon. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 03:00, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
I am aware that whole VWXYZ Fusion Monsters don't need Polymerization to fusion... I am just using that spell for the reference on OTHER fusion that are able to summon with Polymerization as requirement. And sorry for little confuse if I didn't make it clear at first place.
