Forum:A new idea

So i noticed burn heal decks do nothing. i think every one knows that by now. There is no amount of life points you can have that will instantly make you WIN the game, only a certain amount that can make you LOSE, being 0. So i thought of a possible idea for a new archtype which would involve burn healing in order to use spells with an extrememly high cost.

for example

  • Blade of the Revived- Normal spell
  • Pay 6000 life points. Select one monster on your side of the field. For the remainder of the duel, if you control the selected monster, that monster can attack twice.
  • Curse of the Revived- Normal spell
  • Pay 8000 life points. Select one monster. For the remainder of the duel, whenever the selected monster would be destroyed, it is not.
  • Identity Crisis -Normal Spell
  • Pay 9000 life points. Select one card on the field. Declare one card name, one card type (monster, spell or trap) and one type of Monster, Spell or Trap. For the remainder of the duel, the selected card gains the declared name and type.
  • The Revived Reversal -Normal Trap
  • Pay life points until you have 100 left. The player whose life points become greater than 8000 automatically wins the duel.
== supports ==
  • Land of the revived - field spell
  • Pay 500 life points during each of your standby phases. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, whenever your life points are increased, increase your life points by 1000. When this card is destroyed, you lose 2000 life points.
  • Revenge of the Revived - Continuous Spell
  • As long as this card remains face-up on the field, once per turn, when your opponent loses life points, you can increase your life points by the same amount.
  • Revived Master - Effect Monster, level 6/ 2200 ATK, 1400 DEF/ Light, Fairy
  • When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, increase your life points by the same amount.

Idk, i was bored in History class. Thedarkdoor (talkcontribs) 03:05, April 28, 2011 (UTC)thedarkdoor

Well, there are Fire Princess Decks, but the sad part is that their key card is quite weak, and does only a sneeze's worth of damage each time they heal. It would be better if there were more cards that do damage when you heal, not the other way round. That said, it would be interesting if Revenge of the Revived instead damaged the opponent by the same amount whenever you restore Life Points, wouldn't it? --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 09:10, April 28, 2011 (UTC)

Yea totally! Or maybe that could be its own card too. Oura of the Revived

IF they were to be used, you should make them traps, lest people start abusing this card. ShortCircuitFTW (talkcontribs) 20:54, April 28, 2011 (UTC)

I think these are pretty cool. Kind of reminds me of that monster that Dartz used that brought his life points to zero or whatever. I think the card effects are a tad broken, but maybe not. If you make a deck out of it, you really couldn't put too many of these high cost cards in it, theres no way to gain that much LP. Regardless, a deck like this looks fun. High risk. Nice idea! Thanks man! And maybe honestly, id just add "This card is unnaffected by Spell Economics" to the effect
