Can anyone give some advice for my lightsworn deck? I feel that I have too many monsters or too many unneeded spells/traps. 20:13, November 25, 2011 (UTC)
Monsters:
-1 Druid
-1 Paladin
-3 Jenis
-1 Rinyan
-2 Shire (depends on you but I don't think its needed)
-1 Wulf (again, depends on you. 3 is fine, really)
-1 Ehren
-1 Celestia (3 is WAYYY to much)
-2 Gragonith
+2 Lyla, the Lightsworn Sorceress
+2 Judgment Dragon (you MUST have 3)
- If you plan to run syncros, add 1 Glow up Bulb and 1 Plaugespreader Zombie**
Spells:
-2 Photon Lead
-3 Realm of light
-3 Lightsworn Sabre
-1 or 2 Gold Sarcophagus
+1 Dark hole
+1 Heavy Storm
+1 or 2 Monster Reincarnation
+1 Monster reborn (depends on you)
+1 Mystical Space Typhoon
+2 Solar Recharge
+1 Pot of Avarice
Traps: -1 Beckoning Light
-2 Light Spiral
-3 Lightsworn Barrier
-3 Luminize
-1 Localized Tornado
+1 Mirror Force
+1 Torrential Tribute
+1 Solemn Judgement
+1 or 2 Solemn Warning
+1 or 2 Bottomless Trap Hole (choose Solemn warning or Bottomless, there is no need for 2 of each)
- OR you could choose to run no traps, and instead run 3 Royal Decrees**
- You shouldn't be running Jenis, Gragonith, Shire, or Rinyan; "Photon Lead", "Realm of Light" or Sabre; "Light Spiral", or "Localized Tornado". They will rarely save you from a bad situation. It is very unlikely that you will Deck Out if you're running this properly.
- Reduce the Lightsworns that are only good in specific situations (Celestia, Aurkus, Garoth) to 1. You probably don't need 3 Jain; 1 or 2 will do. Get 1 or 2 Lyla and more JD.
- You can run Staple Traps ("Solemn Judgment", 2 "Solemn Warning", "Trap Dustshoot", "Torrential Tribute", & "Mirror Force") or you can just run Dustshoot and focus on offense. I'd recommend the nothin'-but-Dustshoot route for pure 'Sworns.
- Could you afford "Glow-Up Bulb"?

Im trying not to rely too much on JD, hes also costly and I cant afford too many of them. I can run on a $20 budget for additions/edits to this deck. 24.16.196.159 (talk) 20:19, November 25, 2011 (UTC)
