Deck[edit]

some cards dont really fit. ur traps should be consistent and simple. 2 sakues,2 bottomlesses, mirror force, torrential, and some more of ur preference. not too much though. 1 lord of d and flute of summoning is not consistent enough. double summon isnt realy good. Well they are put depending on the situation and still useful.Beside like to differ my iptions. User:DracoX

  • General Dragon decks are rarely effective. Is there a specific type you are aiming for? It looks like a Horus deck, which should have Royal Decree. Though Blue-Eyes is in it, he has no support specifically for him. And it does not appear to be very Dragon-Lordish. More advice can be given if a deck aim is given. Still powerful if used correctly. Horus and blue eyes are there for the same reason as the others monsters in the deck, because of effects or atk. While Lord of D. because of is protecive effect to them and its combination with flute in order to summon the high level dragons more easily. DracoX 20:51, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

There r just 3 problems with your deck. Necro Gardna is a random inclusion since your not controling the # of dark monsters in your graveyard. u have way 2 many dragons, u can't get the right 1s when u want 2, and that leaves out some key spell and trap cards. The final thing is that the deck has no real focus. Maybe you can focus on Horus Cards since u already hav 3 of them in ur deck. ur deck has alot of problems, but i'd start with those first, and then build your deck around that.--Mr.Archfreak 22:33, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Ok for necro gardana what can i substitute or just simply take it out without replacing. And dragons which would be good to leave and finally what will those key spell and traps cards be? DracoX 03:36, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't know your playing style, but an Armed Dragon/Cyberdark deck would probably me more effective. Also take out the specific cards that only works togheter, you'll pull them togheter to few times. Saikon 16:13, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

I agree that a focus is in order. I use to run a general Dragon deck with light focus on Blue-Eyes and that was enough to make it a pretty effective beat-down deck. Basically, what you need to do is figure out how you want to win and build to get that outcome 9 times out of 10 (at least). Since you like dragons, a beat-down deck makes the most sense, and with the dragons you have, it looks like you could build quite a few different kinds. I would suggest either a Horus deck or Dragon Lords as they're easier to work with than a Blue-Eyes deck (but, like I said, it can be done, to a degree). I hope I was somewhat helpful. Much apprecaite for the comments there quite useful might say. DracoX 03:28, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

You might want to add something that will protect you from Buster Blader, like maybe cards that remove your monsters from play, so that Buster Blader doesn't get a boost and completely destroy you! Master D
