I would like some help with my deck which if you couldn't guss is an Ancient Gear and Gadget deck. All I ask is that you try to keep as many Ancient Gears in my deck as you think will be good and without using any Cyber Dragons. The deck uses cards to help swarm the field with high LV monsters like Ancient Gear Golem and Dragon ASAP. If you need it my current deck is on my page. I thank you for your time and effort. Ancient Gear Mobilization

Gear cards

Well, knowing what you already have would be nice. But in general, Ancient Gear Castle helps alot, 'specially if you combo that with Geartown. If you play with both of those and maybe some Ancient Gears for Tribute fodder, then swarming shouldn't be hard at all. I hope this was helpful.

Add 3 Geartowns, they let you play your Gears with a Tribute less. That's a great asset. Also, throw in an AG Beast or two, they really live up to being a Beast when Geartown is out on the field. Heck, since you'll find yourself a bit dependent on Geartown, add a Terraforming to get it out too. Finally, a few staple Traps will do the trick if you can get your hands on them. Hope this helps. --Gadjiltron 04:43, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

dude, what format r u playing? mirror force isnt banned and so is mon reborn. why alchemy cycle? well i would include more beasts and soldier because those could be easily summoned and works as beast sticks. if the smaller guys r too easily destroyed, u would be more defending than offending, and most likely, u'll get banished before u getto tribute summon out the bigger bros. u may want to drop one AGG and add another gadjiltron dragon because, like gadjiltrons advice, it works well with gear town. see, u use gear town, destroy it, get to summon a free dragon. tadaa!!! yeah so u get the idea. my bad!

dont add the soldiers. i was thinking about knights, which u already have. so yeah. more beasts and dont add nights. by the way, why do u need 3 gear golems? i mean, arent marshmallows and breakers better? and maybe rats work better i think.

Max Geartown and add Magical Hats. SuperTeddy 17:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

beasts and soldiers

well i would take 2 engeniers out and put 2 more beasts, like everyone says there are the dangerious ones, i would slip one souldier for the a ancinet gear, and have 2 gear towns, and one terraforming,

Tips

  • Add another geartown with the amount of high level monsters you have you need more than one.
  • Take out one or two (all of them idealy) Gear Golem the Moving Fortress the card doesn't help enogh to run 3 of.
  • Consider adding one more of each Gadget that can help alot with tribuing and thining out your deck (exspealy if you have alot of ways to Normal/Special Summon them) (they can replace the Gear Golem the moving fortresses I have said about above).
  • consider running this card Interdimensional Matter Transporter to protect your high level monsters (the meta is heavy on monster destruction)
  • i don't recommend the following cards: Gaia Power, Riryoku, Security Orb and Negate Attack for your side deck. Why? well its just the fact that there better cards that can be used plus the side deck should be used to add cards that ether counter the meta game or change your decks stratagey so that the Opponent has a hard time. The cards above just enfores the stratagey your using so that doesn't help you much as counter your opponent's deck.
  • If you follow what a said above and added 1 of each gadget to your main deck then get rid of the 3 gadgets in your side deck (you dout you'll need 3 of each).
  • this is somthing that i realy recommend to the fact that if you don't lisen to add of my siggentions then at least lisen to this: ADD DRAWING CARDS (i know you have Alchemy Cycle but you need more than that) they are a must for any deck no matter what deck it is. I'd siggets Cyber Valley and Cyber Phoenix for this but you don't want non ancient gear monsters. so i recommend the following cards: Hand Destruction (beware this can hurt you opponent but it can also help him or her) , Trade-In (if you add this then you might want to add 1 or 2 more Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragons), Dark World Dealings (a lighter version of Hand Destruction), Lighten the Load (same as Trade-In), Pot of Avarice (this is one of the good ones it can also recycle your monsters), Magical Mallet (this doesn't give you anymore then you started with but it can refresh your hand).
  • Alchemy Cycle may not be good enough to use (even with the Machine Duplication combo)
  • You have 2 Ultimate Offerings (one in your main and one in your side) it is limited to one so get rid of the one in your side deck.
  • your side deck needs to be 15 cards in order to use it.
  • like the others above have said Monster Reborn and Mirror Force and no longer Forbidden so put them in your main.
  • like the other have said swich 2 engeniers out and put 2 more beasts (if you don't want to be that extreme then only swich 1 engeniers with 1 beast)
  • and finaly for your side add some of the following cards to counter the meta: Deck Lockdown (for Gladiator Beasts but if you put alot of geartowns in this might not be the best option), Light-Imprisoning Mirror (Lightsworns will have a hard time with this out), Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror (Dark Armed Dragon decks and zombie decks) and Divine Wrath (alot of powerful effect monsters are in this game like Snipe Hunter use this to stop them).
  • Try a Giga power to increase your little guys attacks:)

try a few of these tips out im sure they will help you. If you want to see my ancient gear deck look at my user page. good luck with this deck. Batboy267 15:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC) Hey folks... I'm completely new here but I cannot wait to start off having/getting some fantastic chats with you all! I just figured i would introduce myself to you all so howdy!

Tanks

No Ancient Gear Tanks? They can help out the lower-level cards for good damage, they help Ancient Gear Beast to destroy most anything (Beast's ability to negate card effects upon destroying them is one of my favorites), and they can be used as part of the cost for Spell Gear. I like to also use Fiend's Sanctuary, it's a great tribute fodder generator, especially in a deck with many higher-level monsters like this one. I'd increase the number of Ancient Gear Beasts and decrease the number of Engineers, myself...I love Engineer's Spell/Trap destroying ability but that low ATK it has is annoying (though that's less of an issue if you use Ancient Gear Tank and/or Geartown.) Multiple copies of Ancient Gear Castle will probably help, too. Speedball 23:43, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

G-TOWN

wrap your mind around the following word: GEARTOWN. swarm the field with the AG beasts everyone else's been recommending. max it out. terraforming. field barrier. Why are tribute monsters tribute monsters? cuz they're stronger and are meant to slow you down and keep you from unfairly swarming your opponent. Throw down the Geartown and throw the tribute rule out the window.

geartown geartown geartown.

Field Barrier? That makes it sound as if you don't want your Geartown to be destroyed - a wholly erroneous idea, let me tell you. If it's destroyed, you get a 3000 ATK beatstick in the form of Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon! Runer5h 22:29, March 8, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Use 3 Minefieldriller, 1 The Transmigration Prophecy and 2 Pot of Benevolence to recycle geartown

More Ancient gears----

Monsters: >ditch 1 golem and add an 2 engineers in its place >Ditch 1 Physcic Commander and replace with Ancient Gear Beast >Add a Ancient gear cannon >Add in a Gajitron Chimera Spells: >Ditch 2 powerbonds and add explosive and tank >Monster reborn is banned Extra Deck: >add Ancient Fairy Dragon To Destroy GEARTOWN field spell

Overall pretty neat deck
