Okay, so I'm posting my Karakuri deck.

Nanashick is my personal touch to this deck. In leiu of the ever so risky Cyber Dragon and Instant Fusion, which will only let me get one Karakuri Steel Shogun mdl 00X "Bureido", I use Nanashick. Why? A few reasons. The first is that a standard play is Komachi + Soldier + Machine Duplication. This means I end up with Burei, two Bureido, and Haipa. That's a +2 when Haipa attacks if I haven't won already. Next is the effect. It's amazing. I've used it quite often, in fact-use Soldier to get Komachi (after being destroyed in battle), next turn Normal Summon any Karakuri, Duplicate Komachi, and tribute the Summoned monster for Nanashick. I get to draw 3 cards and proceed to Synchro Summon three Bureido plus get a Haipa, meaning I get to draw 3 more cards if I don't win that turn. Combine that with Mind Control, letting me get rid of my opponent's monster, at least temporarily, and with the new format's lack of backrow, and you get some killer abilities from him.

I'll get Warnings in the tins. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 18:24, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

-1 Haipa, +1 Kuick. -1 E Con, +1 Book. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:14, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I forgot Book. Silly me. As for Haipa: why; It gets me +2s and +3s with Bureido and Anatomy? BF2 Talk Deck Guides 21:15, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

I don't like it as it gets run over too easily, and Kuick is a +1 that usually turns into Bureido who is a +1 or 2 in his own right. I'll take a frequent +2/3 over an occaisional +2/3 any day. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:45, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

I agree with Lappy, Kuick's effect seems better to me then a 2100 Haipa, and Kuick doesn't change to DEF, plus gets you a free summon. And 1 Haipa is enough, sure you may want to OTK, but the combined damage of all the Karakuri's should be enough, even without both Haipa, you only need a little more attack for an OTK to win that turn, seeing as the Buridos all add you to 8200 ATK, plus another monster for opponent monster removal. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:27, September 13, 2011 (UTC)

Low negation for the new format, eh? Unwise for this Deck in my opinion, but not strictly wrong. I suggest you drop "Colossal Fighter" for "Gachi Gachi Gantetsu" so you can do something with the odd pair of "Merchant".

Kuick changes to Defense anyway when attacked, plus switching to Defense when it attacks is usually more beneficial (Anatomy and Bureido). I'll try one Haipa. As for Colossal, I'd keep it. It's a brutal monster, especially against Karakuri and Scrap (gets rid of every 2800 then gets another attack). I'm not sure how likely I am to actually get Gachi Gachi out and it wouldn't benefit me enough, so I'll hold out on it. If I really do start finding myself in situations where I could use it, I'll drop Gaia Knight for it. As for negation, what do you suggest? BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:06, September 13, 2011 (UTC)

I'd go with either Starlight Road or Seven Tools, but I'm more Road Person myself. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:52, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
This new format makes Seven Tools a lot less useful. So far I've barely had to deal with Trap Cards and when I have, Seven Tools would not have slowed me down a crucial turn. Road, on the other hand, might work. I'll try it out. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 15:21, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
