Forum:Broken cards in Duelist Revolution

I have a few that I think are broken in Duelist Revolution:

  • POT OF DUALITY (After talking it over, I've realized this helped set up plays A LOT.)
  • DIVINE WARNING (NEGATES any Summon of a Monster, or a spell or trap that will Special Summon a monster at the cost of 2000 Life Points. Not exactly the best excuse as a sub-Solemn Judgment, but better to use this card then Solemn Judgment in the beginning of the duel.)

So anyways, that's my list of the broken cards in Duelist Revolution. I'm curious to find out if there are anymore broken cards in there that I might have missed, so what's your list?--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 12:53, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

even though i am learning to like the scraps, i have to admit scrap goblin is pretty broken. not being destroyed by battle for a turn and then recycling a scrap as well as being a tuner is just toooo awesome. and thats why i need to get him when he comes out in the tcg--Bwinggale (talkcontribs) 18:44, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

I wouldn't say 'Broken'

Divine Warning is a good card, but I wouldn't exactly call it broken. It's a pretty fair trade-off even when you get to negate the best summoned monsters in most decks. Not a lot of people play the 1 for 1 magic + trap killers like Nobleman of Extermination anymore, but if your afraid of cards like Divine just play a couple of those. Not to mention, cards like Seven Tools of the Bandit are perfect ways to stop cards like this, as the cost is what makes this card so weak. They can't save themselves from paying the cost once they activate it.

As for Pot of Duality, I know there are all kinds of cool plays it can make even without the ability to special summon for the turn. But it's just a new staple, and it can't really do much for you except give you a very small amount of drawing power. It would be broken if you were able to still do everything that turn like special summon. That's all I have to say. NecrofearNorleras (talkcontribs) 20:07, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Huh. From what I've heard, people in OCG tournaments run Pot Of Duality at 3.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 20:24, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah I've heard that too. Atleast with the TCG's current meta though, I don't see why people would run it at 3. I'd love to know why the OCG does, because if so I don't know why they don't limit it themselves. NecrofearNorleras (talkcontribs) 20:29, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
