I special summon “Sangan” with “Call of the Haunted”. Then I activate “Heavy Storm”. Are the effects resolves like this?: Chain is created with only 1 chain link 1 “Heavy Storm”.( “Heavy Storm” resolves and destroys “Call of the Haunted”). “Call of the Haunted” trigger effect activates and forms a new chain with only 1 chain link 1 “Call of the Haunted”. ( “Call of the Haunted” resolves and destroys “Sangan”). “Sangan” trigger effect activates and forms a new chain with only 1 chain link 1 “Sangan”. Is that correct and 3 chains are created OR “Call of the Haunted” and “Sangan” are destroyed at the same time. ATEMVEGETA 8:46, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
from what i know the cards act as normal with no chain but i have a thought, say player 1 has goyo guard on their field, player 2 has sangan, goyo attacks sangan so should sangans effect still activate for player 2? Prince Of Darkness 01:32, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- CotH destruction effect doesnt create a chain. Sangan and CotH are destroyed at the same time.
For the Goyo question, Sangan is still destroyed and sent to the grave so I think it activates normally.--Teba64 01:52, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- "Goyo Guardian" and "Sangan"'s effects both activate when the monster is sent to the Graveyard. Both Trigger simultaneously, so they form a chain according to SEGOC. "Sangan" would be Chain Link 1 (since it is Mandatory), and "Goyo Guardian" would be Chain Link 2 (since it is Optional). --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 05:43, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

- Teba64 got it right. "Call of the Haunted"'s effect does not start a chain, so "Sangan" would be immediately destroyed. You would have a total of two chains. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 06:10, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
