Good day. I thought I'd start a topic where everyone can share their opinion on what they like/dislike from the latest (for now) set. To me, the highlights are:
- 1. The Cover Card: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon-obviously made as a counter to Xyz Monsters, but even against other monsters, its effect can give it a "Shooting Star"/"Red Nova"-like protection.
- 2. Evol monsters: The archetype has barely been introduce, but I can already tell this will be a top-tier Archetype, with its fast Swarming capabilities, destruction-prevention cards and the negation effects of the Xyz monster: Evolkaiser Ragia.
- 3. Hate Crevasse: this thing can bypass destruction-negation abilities (foremost Stardust Dragon) and even damage the opponent.
- 4. Houoh: It's the polar opposite of Dark Dust Spirit, but with an equally impressive effect.
- 5. Number 83: Galaxy Queen: This card can be a potential Staller.
Feel free to add your opinions on the booster here.PoirotH (talk • contribs) 12:07, July 14, 2011 (UTC)
- I like some of the other stuff even more.
- Watt King Cobra and Watt Cancel - these are both great. King Cobra is such a good searcher, and it fuels Watt Cancel, which is great summon negation. (It just remains to be seen whether or not Watt Cancel works on things like Monster Reborn.)
- Naturia Maron - It's draw power for Naturia and an easy way to send Naturia Pineapple to the graveyard in Bamboo Shoot builds.
- Preacher of the Ice Barrier - This gives Ice Barriers something they haven't ever had - speed. Special summoning from hand and retrieving something from the graveyard, all in one? It'll have great synergy with Gantala, at least - summon Preacher, tribute it, special summon Gantala, and special summon Preacher again in the end phase. It also works well with Strategist of the Ice Barrier, and can be used to set up easy Xyz Summons. Overall, I like this card a lot.
- Evolkaiser Ragia: I don't think that this card is necessarily best in Evols - I think it's better in Jurracs. You can summon it very easily by normal summoning Jurrac Guiaba, destroying something by battle, special summoning Jurrac Velo from your deck, and overlaying them for Ragia. And the effect is great - it's like a costless Solemn Judgment! Runer5h (talk • contribs) 15:12, July 14, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
- Silver Ninja- Seems like you could use it with Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 “Sazank” and friends in Karakuri to get things on the field.
- Rescue Rabbit- Awesome card, probably going to be put in some creative and broken deck in Japan once it hits.
- Photon Veil- Veilerx3=FUN
- Telepon D.D.- Probably going to be used in Psychics, it makes biulds with Macro Cosmos more consistent.
- Tribe-Shocking Virus- You best side this in during a Mirror Match
- Dark Flash- Vayu Turbo has another check to Samurai...and everything else
- Shattered Pot of Greed- Perfect with the awesome watt support, watts needed better draw power...
Also hoping for Watt exclusive, good Sneak Peek card, I'm also going to try to collect every Bunnila at my locals.

- Photon Veil is for Fabled Grimro :3
- Finally get Ojamandala, only the RL one has no cost :D

Yea, I know about Grimro too. I wish they kept it at "return 2" for the cost of Photon Veil though. ShortCircuitFTW (talk • contribs) 01:18, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Nice to see that I got some replies. I will now add what I least like from the pack:
- Rabbi-Dragon - This one is not a very tempting choice; if I wanted a Normal LV. 8 monster, I would go for Blue-Eyes White Dragon (forever the best).
- Needle Swordsman - Would present a slightly greater threat if it had the ability to attack directly.
- Dark Flash - Special Hurricane is a better option, IMO.
- Noise of the Forest - Possibly meant to re-use the first effect of Ancient Forest, but can't think of any other Field Spell that can benefit from this. Could be a good counter against Earthbound Immortals Decks or other Field Spell-oriented Decks. In terms of its battle position-changing effect, Book of Moon is superior.

- Dark Flash can be used during opponents turn. and doesn't destroy your monsters
- Noise of the Forest works with Dragunity too,
- Dark Flash can destroy your Special Summoned monsters if they were Summoned during the same turn. By comparison, Special Hurricane can destroy Special Summoned monsters regardless of how many turns it passed, and it doesn't require a specific card to be activated.
- You must be talking about Dragon Ravine; IDK, it feels like you're paying 2 cards to activate its effect again (the one for its cost and Noise of the Forest).PoirotH (talk • contribs) 02:59, July 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, Flip-Summoning a Dragunity monster won't give you back its effect. However, you can use this to "reset" the effect of Divine Wind of Mist Valley while getting a Book of Moon in the process.BobaFett2 (talk)
In regards to Rabbi-Dragon, I've actually been going back and forth about wheither I want to use it in my Dragon deck to better enable Ruler's Penetrating Gaze. I like the card alot, I just don't know if a deck that only runs 3 level 7 or higher normal monsters justifies including even one of these. Granted, this is a Dragon deck, so the White Stones search the Blue-Eyes, the Masked/Dread Dragons search the White Stones, the Future Fusion mills whatever dragons, the Darkness Metal summons the Blue-Eyes, the Wyverns/any dragon on the field summon the Darkness Metal, so it maybe a possiblity...
