Forum:Chimeratech Overdragon

On chimeratech overdragon's effect, it states "This card can attack as many of your opponents monsters as the number of Fusion Material Monsters used for its Fusion Summon."

So if I use 5 monsters to summon it, can i attack 5 times even if my opponent only has 2 monsters? or will my opponent having monsters be a wall to it's attack?
