I need ideas for a Clear Deck (40 Cards)

Chuck that trap and replace it with Nature's Reflection, it will rebound the damage onto your opponent. Second, add in multiple Field Barrier cards to protect your Clear World. Having multiple copies of Clear World might not be a bad idea, but if you're going for a flat forty cards you probably won't need it. As far as monsters are concerned you want some that are impervious to spells, such as Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, in order to get around the terms of Clear World. Also you'll probably be interested in adding in a Lava Golem in order to burn your opponent 2000 a turn. Until more Clear Monsters are made, your probably going to have to content yourself with building this deck as a burn deck or beatdown deck in order to compensate for the lack of clear monsters unless you can find a bunch of monsters unaffected by spells.

If you want a really short burn, try this on for size. Build a fire monster deck. Then use Ultimate Offering to summon as many fire monsters as possible. Then use Nature's Reflection to send the burn damage to your opponent. If you can stall two turns, and have control of 2 Nature's Reflection traps, you can win in short order. I hope my long winded spiel helped. Jon Kovacs 20:29, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

Another card you'll want a few of is Terraforming in order to add Clear World into your hand, and then the field. Jon Kovacs 20:32, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

You may want to consider cards such as Guardian Sphinx that are capable of flipping themselves face down, thus avoiding the effects of Clear World. Another option is to simply use strong EARTH monsters and not put them in defense mode, preventing any drawbacks. Something else to consider is using DNA Transplant to force the desired effect on your opponent. This is more effective with the cards like Guardian Sphinx that flip themselves face down. You might want to throw in a Double Coston to bring out Clear Vice Dragon. Make sure you don't have more than two CVDs in your deck, as they are a pain to draw when your field is empty. CVD is also very hard to keep around during your opponent's turn, so cards like Mist Body, Spirit Barrier, or Call of the Earthbound, since he has 0 ATK when selected as an attack target. You'll also want Solemn Wishes, Spell Abosrption, or Soul Absorption to prevent you from losing any LP. 71.227.210.235 22:31, June 21, 2010 (UTC

You might want to find some strong burn combos, like Gift Card and Bad Reaction to Simochi to make the duel go as fast as possible. Without any other "Clear' Monsters currently available, this deck will be kind of hard to use in a long duel, especially against a stall deck. Jon Kovacs 00:21, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

A clear world deck? Amazing ur actually gonna try and pull it off. The support isn't there yet, but its a good effort. I think the problem is going to be how you base clear world, since the only monster out there now is Clear Vice Dragon, don't expect to win. Like the dude above me said, DNA Transplant will help but won't be out too long. Wait a bit, in the next release there will be clear world specific monsters. You should look through the burn deck lists in the deck types section of the wikia for more ideas on burn combos... and add in another Nature's Reflection and praps more gift cards and bad reactions.... And I think Prime Material Dragon would save your life points... When you finish a list, then come back for some critiques.. it will probably work out better for you if you do so, as we can better give you advice based on a mostly finished deck list. K? Nature's Reflection works well in a Bad Reaction to Simochi Deck , thou you must activate it in the main phase , then you would need Path of destiny. 208.90.132.100 (talk) 21:04, September 10, 2010 (UTC)DragonWater208.90.132.100 (talk) 21:04, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

Nurse Reficule the Fallen One could be a help if you want to expand on the gift card/ simochi aspect. Jon Kovacs 23:46, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

one big thing would be Homunculus the Alchemic Being as you can change his atribute to anything to get around clear world's effects in any way you need, plus its an 1800 point attacker that can defend your life points, so definitaly add one in... 3 preferably but still... i am qite worried about only 9 monsters to be hnest and what if you have a pretty big deck fail... then people will walk all over you... another card to add would be a Mirage Dragon as its a light (so you will only have to show your opponent your hand) but it means that your attacks will be pretty much sorted... hope this helped :) Calcfer050 (talkcontribs) 10:27, June 26, 2010 (UTC)Calcifer050

I like that card

I was also thinking it would serve well with face down cards, also with the Divine now being an attrbute, Obileisk the Tormentor , could be used as well that could now be an atrrubute your cards chnage to, thus having no negetive effect. Nature's Reflection won't work, it only affects cards activated by your opponent.69.106.241.86 (talk) 02:35, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

In addition with the lava golem idea it might be worthwhile to use the effects of Token monsters on your opponents side of the field such as with the use of ojama trio, revival gift, and nightmare archfiends since theyd have 2 or more dark monsters in the field theyd be unable to attack with the effects of clear world, these tokens can also be used to place lava golem on their side of the field usually along with them receiving negative effects such as LP damage when their tokens are destroyed.Raventheblack (talkcontribs) 19:38, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Spell of Pain would work instead. I misread Nature's Reflection. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 15:52, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

I'd say put in Fires of Doomsday as well, since Plasma Vice is still a Dark monster and can easily be summoned with them. Also, an Earthbound Immortal or Malefic Stardust Dragon might give you some much needed Beatdown support, since both can stand individually on the field for a good time. And put in either multiple copies of either Clear World or Magical Stone of Excavation, cause right now it seems alot like if they destroy that one Clear World, the deck comes crumbling down, and two Terraforming's is a bit wasteful when you only have one card to bring to your hand with it anyway. I kind of question why Spell Absorption is there, but whatever works... and Limit Reverse, since Clear Vice Dragon can be special summoned with it with relative ease. Also, a technicality you might want to exploit is the ability to change Homonculous's attribute to Divine, thus removing any negative effect period. Also, if you put in multiple copies of Clear World, some synchro support for Ancient Fairy Dragon might work out since you can destroy your own Clear World, gain 1000 life points, and then add another Clear World to your hand for later use when it wouldn't cost you the game. You could also take advantage of Messenger of Peace, since Clear Vice Dragon only gains power during the damage step, thus getting around the technicality of not attacking, and in today's metagame, most decks end up with mons well above 1500. Volcanic Queen as well, if you're looking to burn. Montage Dragon could also help for difficult hands where you have multiple copies of Plasma Vice, plus Shien's Spy and any magic card that really gives your monster to your opponent.

I personally would use Barrel Behind the Door in place of Spell Of Pain because they both do the same thing only Barrel Behind the Door has a faster spell speed.

Way to bump a really old topic. Leave it be. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 01:19, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
