Your running Crystal Beasts so a Hamon would work really well here and give you a huge big hitter.Slinky O 16:50, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I dont really think Hamon would be good in there since it removes 3 CB from your S/T zones, and this deck is aiming for putting 4 in there for abundance, meaning hamon would slow it down. I think you should add 1 more Crystal Blessing(maybe in place of 1 release) and some Rare Value(drawing is always good and with blessings it wouldnt be a problem losing only 1 CB).Teba64 19:20, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I kinda agree on "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" - sending 3 CBs to the grave is a major setback - would be excellent for my "Rainbow Dragon" variant though. No objections for "Crystal Blessing", even thought of adding another one myself - however, increasing deck size isn't good, and I do not know which card to remove - any ideas?
Also, about the "Rare Value" - you see, I had 2 in the deck, but they tended to produce far too many dead draws (drawing 2 "Rare Values" on the very first turn is a fine way to lose a duel in no time), so many that I finally removed them - might try them again, but still, that would be 3 cards to remove, but which ones? The "Bubonic Vermin" cards, maybe? Please, speak your mind! Darth Covah 19:31, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Seeing your deck, to make place for these cards i would remove either the Bubonic Vermins or 2 Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle and 1 Crystal Release. You see,i really dont like the eagle: its effect is only useful if used on Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus otherwise its like using a Raiza on yourself, and 1400 ATK isnt very good.Teba64 20:46, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I can agree on the "Nimble Momongas", they aren't that useful anyways. However, there is a slight problem with removing the 2 "Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagles". You see, the whole deck has only a handful of Crystal Beasts, and removing more would,I believe, cripple my ability of swarming the Spell and Trap Card Zone with Crystal Beasts, thus prohibiting use of "Crystal Abundance". However, it is possible that it will come to removing some Crystal Beasts in the end, and I too would choose the Eagles, both for their low attack and defense power, and their, in essence, too-specific effect. I appreciate the feedback though, so keep it coming! Ah, and something else: Are there any specific cards to add to my side deck (supposing it is empty now) to make it more potent against a "Dark Armed Dragon" deck? Thanks in advance! Just a suggestion: I think it could be a good idea to add a Magna-Slash Dragon (if you have one), since it goes well with Crystal Beasts and lets you thin out the enemy's spells and traps. I don't know if it's too hard to get it out, since I haven't really tried with a Crystal Beast deck, but I noticed it's effect and thought it might fit quite well in your deck.
- Magna-Slash goes against the objective of this deck. While I have never run CB before, Darth Covah, you are not running Rainbow Dragon and Hamon... even Eagle! At least you have a good idea of what the deck is supposed to do, so you're on the right track. The talk page on the CB deck page may help. The article itself needs lots of work though :/ --Pizzaman 19:43, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Try a few Lightning Vortexes, they will help in making a comeback if the opponent grabs the upper hand. With 3 Pegasus, you should be able to have no problem filling up the ST Zone, so perhaps an extra Crystal Beacon will help in speeding up the process. Yeah, and 3 Rare Values too. If they become a bother you can pitch them with Lightning Vortex if you also have that, and after all the Beast-pitching from the ST Zones, a third Crystal Blessing is always good. Other than that, the deck seems pretty stable. --Gadjiltron 14:41, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
