Compulsory Evacuation Device, why isent this at least semi-limited or limited, but grand mole is?

Because grand mole effect can be used and reused, while compulsory evacuation device effect can be used just once. It's just an OK card, so there's no point in even thinking about limiting it. 85.48.37.229 11:24, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Compulsory Evacuation Device is kind of cheap if you run 3

It is a card I think people should use in today's meta, think about it, Synchros, rituals and fusion monsters would have to start over, and if they already got the cards they need to summon it in the graveyard, then the chances of them getting that card back is very slim.

It is also pretty cheap to use on your opponents first turn, if they summon a monster and you return it to their hand, they will have to rely on magic and trap cards. Cloak007 09:21, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

That is true, but sometimes (with cards like Stardust Dragon), it is a very useful card to have available. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 20:12, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

New Question

Jon0191 (talkcontribs) If My opponent controls my monster with a card such as Mind Control, Enemy Controller or even because of the effect of Goyo Guardian and I use Compulsory Evacuation Device on my monster that is under their control, does that monster go back to my hand or does it go to the graveyard?

Good question, the monster goes back to your hand. It is still your monster, the opponent just controls it. Automation44 (talkcontribs) 00:21, December 7, 2010 (UTC)Automation44

Compulsory is good Yugiohs. It doesn't need limiting or semi'ing because it is slow as a trap card. It also doesn't kill off the monster. If you return a synchro, it might just come back later. It is simply a 1-4-1 and stops quick gains of field advantage... ( I'm looking at you Sabers and Samurai) IonCharge (talkcontribs) 19:15, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

Or Infernities. Try to make a move with a card in your hand why don't you... Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 21:04, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
