I have been playing Yugioh for quite a while now, and plan on starting to go to tournaments every weekend. I want to stay defensive as opposed to a specific "blackwing" or "x-saber" type deck, because I had fun running this against my friends.
I want to know what others think about my deck I.E. cards to ditch, cards to get, how you think it would do against your deck, how you think it would against people running specific decks.

I strongly recommend a *Destiny Hero - Defender
- Add 3 D-Hero Defender. Remove the normal monsters. Sure they have high defense,but that's just about it. Desert Protector isn't really needed.
- Other suggestions are,when you are running 3 Destiny Hero - Defender's,you can run 3 Ally Genex Crusher as well,when it comes out. Running 3 Grave Protector can help recycle your monsters,with a sturdy defense as well. As you may notice,the cards I'm suggesting are all DARK attributed. Run 2-3 Patrician of Darkness and maybe 1-2 Emperor Sem. Maybe 2 Stone Statue of the Aztecs. Max out those Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield. Run 3 Stumbling and 3 Chorus of Sanctuary. Now even though your monsters have high defense,you'll still need a way to deal out some damage. You can stall for quite awhile with that deck,so maybe run 3 Wave-Motion Cannon.
Thousand Needles,Neo Aqua Madoor,Ladybug,Trap Reactor,Des Koala,Lady in Wight,Poison Mummy,Flint,Ookazi,Heart of Clear Water,Miracle Dig,Marshmallon Glasses,Dian Keto,Ekibyo,Nutrient Z,Magica Jammer,Spell Aborbation,Skull Lair,Trap Jammer,Minor Goblin Official,Taunt,Trap Hole,Half or Nothing,Shadow Spell can all go.

Try this on for size. I'm not sure of a side-deck. But overtime I'll make an extra deck when I have the time. Yes Ally Genex Crusher is not out yet. Thats why you can replace it with Moai Interceptor Cannons. Most of these cards should be easy to get. I hope this deck helps.
