Forum:Disaster and Chaos!

With the new Dragon cards, ive made a Disaster Dragon deck WITH CHAOS! That would really bring great chaos to the battlefield. Anyway, on top is my Disaster Chaos build. let me explain:

Like other Disaster Dragon deck, the goal is to bring BIG, BUFF and STRONG Dragons onto the field using Red-Eyes. But this deck's speed grew with the new Dragon cards. It become a Graveyard Control deck also. well one weakness of the Disaster Dragon is they depend TOO MUCH on REDMD and when u dont draw it or get to grab it since the only way to search REDMD is Gold Sarcophagus. Also your hand is stuck with buff dragons with no easy way to summon them. With Eclipse Wyvern, you get to search REDMD at ease using its effect. Though u can get the REDMD ONLY when the Eclipse gets banished, its not much of a problem since I have a lot of cards that banish Eclipse (BLS, Pulsar, Darkflare) and Eclipse can easily be sent to the grave (Ravine, Burial, Darkflare, Future Fusion). BLS needs not to be explained since this IS also a Chaos Deck. Darkflare banishes Wyvern, dumps Dragons to grave AND can be able to banish opponents pesky cards in grave (Glow Up Bulb, Plaguespreader, Treeborn etc.) very awesome card thats why i placed it on 3. Pulsar also banishes Eclipse and can summon REDMD in grave. though since its effect always misses the timing, its not that useful so i placed it on 1. (But I was thinking in changing it with Chaos Sorc.) REDMD is my key card. and Wyvern is here to summon REDMD back and it can easily be sent to grave. Verz Zahhak is well.... i want to add more darks and with this decent attack and awesome effect, i added it. Now White Stone of Legend & Blue Eyes. I sometimes run out of cards in hand becuase of Ravine & Darkflare and Stone solves it, when it is sent to grave i get a blue eyes so I can discard Stone & Blue Eyes for their effects and Blue Eyes can be summoned using REDMD and with a powerful 3000 attack and also my favorite card since i was a kid. Stone is also a tuner giving synnchro potions though i dont really synchro, just there if i run out of choices.

My extra deck needs not much explaination. The synchros are there cause of Stone but i dont really use them, just there when i run out of options. I have a decent number of lv4 cards so i might as well add utopia roach & laval chain. Now my weird Xyz Monsters are Thunder End & Gustaph Max. Blue Eyes is always summoned easily using REDMD and can have 2 Blue-eyes on field easily so having a "so-called Judgment Dragon" might not be half bad. AND Gustaph Max is just there for back up. Imagine if my opponent has like less than 2000 LPs and i can swarm all I want though my opponent has some stall cards so i cannot move, so i can overlay 2 REDMDs to summon Gustaph dealing a powerful 2000 damage. I dont use much of my Extra deck, just there for some options.

Spells line up.... Light of Redemption gets back some of my banished light. Foolish, Ravine & Future Fusion are for EXTREME DUMPING. Terraforming searches ravine(is it really worth it using 2 or just 1?) The Rest are Staples and my trap is Dustshoot. lol

So i need help with this like:

• A Chaos Sorcerer instead of Pulsar? I need help.
• Maybe adding a DAD?
• Is removing 1 terraforming a good idea?
• Is there a better Draw card other than Upstart?

Terraforming is NEVER a dead draw in decks that use Dragon Ravine. If you already have Ravine on the field, you can just discard Terraforming for its effect. Always run 2-3 if you use Ravine. So, Terraforming is fine where it is. Pot of Duality is a possibility, even though you will Special a lot. If you run it, run 2. DAD sounds pretty good with all of the Graveyard control. Pulsar is a great card, so I don't know about completely replacing it with a Sorceror. Synchro Maniac10 (talk • contribs) 13:29, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

At least 1 Pulsar is a good idea. It's better insurance than "Prime Material Dragon".

DAD is searchable, but you're top-heavy. For the extraneous DARK, perhaps the 10/15 "Divine Dragon Apocalypse"?

Keep it for know; this Deck's speed is a bit uncertain at the mo'.

So Pulsar stays where it is. Trade In might be ok considering that I ALWAYS have Blue Eyes in my hand. So DAD can be but which should I take out? maybe a Light monster? help me. And should I take out an Upstart or 2 for Trade In? PoD is bad, it messes up my Special Summons. Also alot are using Rai Oh now adays. 33royward (talk • contribs) 02:12, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

Burial, maybe. Release, I don't think so. Only thing it triggers is Wyvern.

PoD isn't bad, as it adds consistency to this deck that doesn't have much. That's the problem with Disaster Dragon. Most of them run 2. You don't HAVE to, but I'd suggest it. Boba, you missed REDMD. Synchro Maniac, you just went full confirmation-bias.

I've run this Deck on DN and I've found that Eclipse Wyvern doesn't help much if you can't draw the banishers. So more of those would be recommended. Designless Square (talk • contribs) 20:52, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

lol REDMD IS Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon XD i have to say no to PoD as i easily thin my deck. Trade-In is what I agree. so uhmm:

• What should I replace for DAD?
