Forum:Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana

Okay, so I'm running a Dragunity deck (having abandoned my old deck which is far too slow to compete against anything these days), but I've hit a major wall.

Now... I know the deck is missing Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana, and that's my problem. Vajrayana, as you probably know, is a very expensive card, and I cannot afford it (because many sellers are asking for £30+). Is there any way I can possibly get similar effects to Vajrayana, without comprimising the deck, for cheaper (and before anyone says it, I'm not asking for a cheap copy of Vajrayana). --Tazer Silverscar (talkcontribs) 15:07, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

Short answer. No.

Long answer, Still No., but if you just use 6 stars like Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier & Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth instead of your 8 star syncros,-Resk (Talk) 15:21, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

Of course, you're left with the issue that arises from the fact that Brionac is expensive and when it comes to Level 6 splashable (no requirement) Synchro Monsters-Brionac and Goyo Guardian are the best, and the rest are all beatdown. If you're set on making Synchro Monsters, you could use Inferno Reckless Summon to get up to three copies of Phalanx from your deck when he's summoned but it isn't as efficient as a lot of strategies and it only works once.BobaFett2 (talk)

You could use Dragunity Arma Mystletainn.

Thanks Resk, although my main interest is to make the deck powerful and fast. Gaia simply isn't good enough (as if I wanted a power of 2600, I have Leyvaten for that, and Leyvaten can auto-loop thanks to LaDD), and I don't have any Brionac (as everyone I know who has one is refusing to trade theirs, and will ony sell). Also, Brionac makes the deck a bit awkward, as it involves lots of discard to keep up the field-bounce, meaning I may have to mill cards I don't necessarily want to lose.

Splashable is nice, but in case you haven't heard, Goyo is now in the Forbidden group, Boba. Inferno Reckless Summon isn't bad, but counting on one card leaves options pretty closed.

I dunno who you are, random person who forgot to sign, but Mystletainn takes up a lot of space in the deck, so I'd rather not use him, especially given using him requires giving up some very useful defensive tactics.

Thanks for the advice anyway. But I guess I better just get selling some cards and hope the value of Vajrayana eventually drops. Or just get extremely lucky in my boosters. --Tazer Silverscar (talkcontribs) 02:12, April 14, 2011 (UTC)
