See any problems with this deck? It's designed to keep opponents away from my life points long enough to pick up the 5 peices. Upstart Goblin gives me power to draw and speed up the game. Wabuko, Thunder of Ruler, and Thereatening Roar are great stall cards because the don't activation conditions. Cards like level limit, spirit reaper, marshmallon, gellenduo, and gravity bind are permanent so they stop most attacks untill they're destroyed. Unhappy Maiden, Winged Kuriboh, Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, and Cyber valley stall for one turn, and cyber valley even lets you draw an extra card. Pot of Aviarice lets you recover any Exodias that were sent to the the graveyard the draw, and heavy storm lets you destroy nasty spell and traps. Exodia is my winning condition. That's how each card helps the deck, and lets you keep card advantage. Any suggestions? These were the best stalling cards I could knew about are there any that you know please respond!

5x Exodia 3x Upstart Goblin 3x Waboku 3x Threatening Roar 3x Thunder of Ruler 1x Heavy Storm 1x Pot of Avarice 1x Spirit Reaper 1x Marshmallon 1x Gravity Bind 1x Level Limit- Area B 3x Negate Attack 3x Unhappy Maiden 3x Winged Kuriboh 1x Flute of Summoning Kuriboh 3x Cyber Valley 1x Mirror Force 3x Gellenduo

  • Actually.. now that I think about it, Magical Mallet and Card Trader are useless since your goal is you mill your own deck until you have Exodia in your hand. But I should clarify that I suggested Sangan and Different Dimension Capsule not to bring out Exodia, but other cards instead. Unless your opponent is aware that you have an Exodia deck, you probably wouldn't want to search for it with Sangan because you have the show the card you search for to your opponent. But you can still use Sangan to draw out cards like Marshmallon and help lessen the cards in your deck. And you could use Different Dimension Capsule as a riskier version of Upstart Goblin. So you could use the Capsule to remove from play cards like Negate Attack. And if the Capsule survives, that's good. But if it doesn't, that's okay because in the end, you still lessen the amount of cards in your deck. And actually... Magical Hats isn't too bad of a card to try out since you get to remove 2 cards from your deck. =] You should try it out and see if it works. Randomhouse101 02:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks, those are some some good ideas but the problem is that sangan would leave me open the turn it was played. Let me give a little insight into how this deck works. There is only one, 6 card, hand in this deck in which I wouldn't have any of my stall cards or Upstart Goblin 4 out of the 5 Exodias, heavy storm and pot of Avarice. Also Pot of Avarice will let me draw cards unless I don't have 5 cards in the graveyard. The thing is I actually have less chance of getting this hand than all 5 peices of Exodia. Also by this time I probably will have a continuous stall card on the feild. Allowing me to survivee for that turn. Next I may have more cards in my hand thanks to Cyber Valley. So if I continue to go on in the duel all my other cards will either be stall cards or the last peice of exodia. Any more cards that don't let me draw or stall while letting me keep six cards in my hand would be bad for my deck! Still, your suggestions were great, please comment again if you find anything. Oh, and feel free to copy this deck if you like it I would like to bring Exodia back into fame.

By the way magical hats, great idea, but it is too ify. If my opponent has 4 monsters I take a direct attack, if he has 5...

What I really need are cards that stall for 1 turn or more with out a cost to my life points or hand, and it has to be able to stall agaisnt 5 monsters and hope fully being unconditional.so I can active it at any time.

Again thanks, but I still don't think you get what I mean. Bubonic Vermin will only special summon 1 other, so that means I can only stop up to three of my oppenent's attacks by this point in the duel he could quite posibly have 5 monsters which means I would take two direct attacks. There fore it doesn't work I want cards so that I can defend from my 5 of my opponents from my deck as if he had 5 monsters with infinite attack on his feild and all 5 peices of Exodia are at the bottom of my deck, but I'll use swords of revealing light.

So here's my new formula: 5x Exodia 3x Upstart Goblin 3x Waboku 3x Threatening Roar 3x Thunder of Ruler 1x Heavy Storm 1x Pot of Avarice 1x Spirit Reaper 1x Marshmallon 1x Gravity Bind 1x Level Limit- Area B 3x Negate Attack 3x Unhappy Maiden 3x Winged Kuriboh 1x Swords of Revealing Light 3x Cyber Valley 1x Mirror Force 3x Gellenduo

Oh and also this deck is for advanced forum. S.o.r.l. is limited.

I'm trying to make this deck super powerful. If you could rate it out of 10 I would appreciate it. This deck is designed to avoid bad luck. Any good luck is of course welcomed though. But this deck is made so I don't have to depend on luck to pull me through.

Please Help! I want to enter a tournament with this deck! But I'm not sure wheather I should use it or not.

  • Sorry to be frank, but Exodia Stall won't work against the Meta in tournaments. A turbo-draw engine will work 10x better. Look up the "Manticore Loop" as one example. Chris427 05:46, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Here's what I'm thinking: I take out heavy storm, pot of avarice, and the flute of summoning kuriboh to put in 2 Manticores of darkness, 1 card of safe return, and then make a side deck. Thanks for the suggestion. That makes my deck super! If my calculations are correct I have a little over a 1/10 chance of getting all three on my first turn. This deck will be awesome! And although that so makes it better I think I could do well with either strategy. I've used an Exodia deck before but it wasn't that well constructed but I thought how to make it better and made this. Any way either deck should do the trick judging from experience.

Any other suggestions?

Here's some cards for my side deck: Heavy Storm, Pot of Aviarice, MST, Ojama Trio, Magical Mallet, and Flute of Summoning Kuriboh.

Here are some other good cards to get you Exodia deck going. Relinquished + Advanced Ritual Art to get a piece in the grave then bring it back with Pot of Avarice or Dark Factory of Mass Production. Relinquished also helps keep your opponents stronger monsters in check when you have no more Gravity Bind and attack negating cards. Also Umi/A Legendary Ocean + Tornado Wall so you don't take any damage. Chain Energy keeps your opponents always paying to play cards. Adding 3 Nimble Momongas ups your life points and gives some defense. Morphtronic Magnen (Defense Mode) + Safe Zone walls your opponent's attacks. Pharaoh's Treasure and The Transmigration Prophecy can also help to get Exodia or Pot of Avarice or Gravity Bind and other cards back in your arsenal. Fake Trap is one optional card to set that keeps Gravity Bind on the field should your opponent target it to destroy it.

I recall you wanted more continuous stalling options....
try this: Attraffic Control
