Hazy Flame Manticore of Darkness Spam

Just a random Hazy Flame deck, but with an emphasis of spamming Xyz monsters with Manticore of Darkness. May add in Hazy Pillar and maybe either Peryton or Mantikor, but for now, this is what I have. Please go easy on it, thanks. Vorpal Storm Pony (talk • contribs) 16:12, January 21, 2013 (UTC)
- Since your main card is "Manticore of Darkness", you could use "Brushfire Knight" and "Goka, the Pyre of Malice" to do combos with it. --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 02:42, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I've already got Qilin for my graveyard-dumping, so Brushfire Knight would be redundant, and Manticore's going to be recycled mainly by using him as an Xyz material, so destroying him with Goka for a combo would be pointless, as well. If this was more focused on Manticore as a beatstick, your suggestions would work better, but this is primarily using him as a renewable resource for Xyz fodder, nothing more, so your ideas are sadly obsolete with what I already have. - Again, it's not necessary when I have Qilin in this deck, and again, this deck is about quick Xyz spamming, not wanton destruction; if I wanted that, I'd stick with a pure Fire King deck. - Yeah, but "Goka" is Level 6 and Special Summons itself, it allows easy Rank 6 summons AND activates "Qilin's" effect. Also, how about "Rekindling"? You have 8 (more than half your monsters) targets for it. --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 15:28, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
- Since the deck is based on exploiting Manticore's effect, I need as many cards that can fuel its return as possible, so again, Goka is unnecessary. As for Rekindling, I may add it in as a side deck option, but to be honest, I'm not too keen on it. Don't ask why, I just get a bad rub from it; maybe it's because of how dang popular it is.
