Forum:How's my Fairy Deck

Well, I benefit from Archlord Zerato's effect of discarding because I can special summon the monsters discarded with Athena. Also, I dont need three Warrior of Zera's but personally I think having three just makes me feel more secure. (AZ is a dead draw without Warrior of Zera.) I personally think I should remove DNA surgery though, so the opponent doesnt recieve bonuses for having Fairy-type monsters. Im thinking about adding in Celestial Transformation for Athena's effect.. Shoukatsuryou 01:21, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

• But if you don't draw both Archlord Zerato and Warrior of Zera they are "dead draws", and it's even harder to draw both in a 45-cards deck. If you really want to play AZ though, you should add another Splendid Venus and 2 or 3 copies of Trade-In. And think about removing Malevolent Catastrophe too, since it also destroys your cards like The Sanctuary in the Sky. That should help, SuperTeddy ^{call me Matthew}' 06:08, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Field Barrier is there to protect The Sanctuary in the Sky from both Heavy Storm and Malevolent Catastrophe. Also, personally I think Archlord Zerato would be so much better if he could be a Semi-Nomi montser. And hmm, three Trade-In's...im not sure. By the way, this isnt meant to be metagame competitive, its meant for one of those longer, enjoyable duels. Shoukatsuryou 07:07, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

• Lol, just remove Malevolent Catastrophe, it will hurt you more than your opponent most of the time. Side-deck them if you want, but don't main them. And some of the best Tele-DAD Decks have 3 Trade-In's with only 5 8-star monsters, remember that. And just a point, but Dust Tornado is not a spell card. • as far as Monsters go keep Zera but you may with to pull one Archlord Zerato so its a bet ezer to pull out also pull all Freya, Spirit of Victory, Shining Angel, Soul of Purity and Light to add Gellenduox2 - the Gellenduo make a wall to keep back atk while giving you dubble tribut for the big guys like Athena and Splendid Venus

Did I place Dust Tornado as a spell card? >.> Also, I still dont really understand how Malevolent Catastrophe will hurt me more than the opponent, as I wont really have my spell cards on the field most of the time (except The Sanctuary in the Sky and Field Barrier). Also, I hate Waboku, its just kind of ruins the feeling of battle while dueling for me. I dont see a reason to get Divine Wrath unless im going against Gorz the Emissary of Darkness or Dark Armed Dragon, and alot of people I go against use mill decks, so Next to be Lost would kind of make me feel anxious if I draw it at that time. I dont have any Gellenduo, the closest thing I have to that is Kaiser Sea Horse. Also, I removed all three Dust Tornado's and added some Tornado. I dont really see as to why I should remove Freya, Spirit of Victory and Shining Angel. Also, Soul of Purity and Light can be summoned pretty easily because I wont ever be using cards like Archlord Zerato again if he's in the grave, its mainly there to tune with Herald of Orange Light.Shoukatsuryou 03:02, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
