For some reason, after reading its effect, I feel that Level Eater should go up on the ban list. If not banned, then at least limited, but that's just me.--Anuj Bhyravabhotla the Braves Fan (talk • contribs) 20:26, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
- It's only used in Synchro Summon decks, and they haven't really made an impact this format, so probably not gonna happen. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:15, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
- And besides, usually one is just enough, because unlike other similar cards that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard, it does not banish itself after it does its job. But right now, with Xyz Monsters being all the rage (especially Rank 4 ones), along with other monsters that can already modify their own levels, Level Eater really hasn't been seeing a lot of use in the meta today. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 01:16, July 22, 2013 (UTC)
Level Eater is actually pretty balanced for synchro decks. It's a 1 lv monster, that costs you 1 level of a monster on your field. It's "tribute only for tribute summon" clause is also balanced, so you can't abuse Cannon Soldier or DSF or other cards like that with it. Not to mention it can only target Level 5 or higher monsters. Being able to target monsters of any level is considered broken.Sui cho (talk • contribs) 07:34, July 23, 2013 (UTC)
