War Chariot can be very broken, especially in today's meta where people are running 3. There needs to be some kind of limitation on this card. Cloak007 14:19, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- I agree - Gladiator Beast War Chariot needs to be Limited. It's one of the very few searchable Trap Cards, it's Spell Speed 3, it is easily recycled and has no activation cost, not to mention its game-breaking effect. I wonder why it was not hit, but it was probably because GBs only had a huge impact when PTDN and TDGS came out, and have not had any stunning performances ever since. Indirectly, Cat Glads were hit, which will hurt 90% of GB decks, but other than that, GBs are still going strong. --Darth Covah (Talk | Contribs) 07:43, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

I think that Gladiator Beast Equeste should be either Limited or banned because of this card. In the cases of cards getting banned, in order to curb loops, FTKs or OTKs, they usually ban cards that allow the player to re-use effects indefinitely, such as Magician of Faith or Dark Magician of Chaos. War Chariot is broken because Equeste can retrieve it from the graveyard each time he is summoned (which, given the capabilities of the common GB deck, is very easy to do). This loop can lockdown monster effects (at least 1 negation per turn), usually crippling a player's strength. Overoncloud9 13:45, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
In fact, (now that the new ban list has been experimented with) I take my statement back. It can stay at 3. With Fissure, Smash and Book back at 3. Removing the Gladiator Beast is soooo easy, it's not funny. Doing so renders Chariot useless and you can destroy it however you want now. Hence why some people are using 1 Chariot in tourneys now instead of the original 3. Falzar FZ 13:56, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Why would any glad beast deck run less than 3 chariots.. That being said its never going to be touched by the banlist.
