I previously posted a Malefic decklist on the forums, but after looking at the Malefic Truth OTK page, I've rebuilt it. It's meant to continuously get out Malefic monsters, and if possible, use either Skill Drain or Megamorph to OTK with Malefic Truth Dragon. Any thoughts? If anyone knows of any decent ones, I could use suggestions for 10 or 12 star Synchro monsters with decent effects, I would appreciate it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 02:03, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

Trident Dragion

User:Taylor ace

Nice! That's definitely a keeper. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 02:21, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
I just checked on Malefic Parallel Gear, and its a machine, which doesn't fit Trident Dragion's summoning requirements. Thanks for the suggestion though. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 02:27, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
I looked and there are no other splashable 10 or 12 star synchros. If anyone has any tips on how to improve the rest of the deck, I would appreciate it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 04:07, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
Pretty much you covered anything in that deck. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 11:05, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for checking, I just wanted to be sure before I got a ton of the cards. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 01:02, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Allure of Darkness should help, and I find that Gold Sarcophagus is only worth running in twos, so perhaps drop the Hand Destruction for it, as it follows the same-Resk (talkcontribs) 13:59, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Things and stuff

First off, if you're trying to OTK with Malefic Truth, you may want to be able to search it. One of the advantages you have here is that it's DARK and can work from the graveyard. As such, Arma Knight/Dark Grepher would serve this purpose. Next, the deck is highly reliant on Malefic World, so Terraforming wouldn't be out of place. Hope this helps

Additions

I changed out some of the spells, and I added in a side deck. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:34, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

So the three Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, three Red-Eyes Wyvern, and three Cyber Dragons count for nothing? And after you summon a Malefic monster due to its effect, you can summon them with REDM from the grave. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:00, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
* I am sorry to say this but the sin cards clearly state "This monster can not be Normal Summoned, This card can not be special summoned except by removing from play {insert original counterpart here} from your hand or deck" That means once it's dead, it's dead. The only way to bring them back is to return them from the graveyard to your hand and Summon them again. I am not trying to be mean but with the wording they use I can't see any other meaning. Now if they said something like "This card can not be special summoned from the hand" and not Special Summoned in general that would be a different story. --RyuPhalian (talkcontribs) 23:34, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
He's right, Malefics are Nomi. You're thinking of Semi-Nomi. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 23:36, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
That may be true, but there are something like twelve dragons that all can be summoned by REDM in the deck, even if the Malefic monsters cannot be. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 16:48, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
... eh? I mean, yeah, you run some Dragon synchro monsters, but that doesn't REALLY count. Currently, your only possible targets are:
  • Red-Eyes Wyvern
  • Malefic Paradox Dragon
  • Stardust Dragon - but no, because you will never summon that or place it in the graveyard.
  • Five-Headed Dragon - oh wait, nevermind. You can only summon it by fusion summon.
And that's it. A grand total of 6 targets doesn't seem to justify using REDMD to me. Oh, and another thing - you can't use Ally of Justice Decisive Armor, because it requires 3 synchro material monsters, and you'd only be able to provide 2. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 20:38, January 30, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h

That's fantastic, but you also forgot the Cyber Dragons. Again. The point of having them in the deck is that as a general rule, it will be possible to summon a dragon any time during the duel. And I'll remove Decisive Armor, I missed it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 20:50, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Cyber Dragon is a MACHINE. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 21:28, January 30, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
Then what on earth do you suggest to replace them? All that this discussion seems to be is your opposition to monsters that I've put in the deck. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 22:32, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
So assuming we're dropping the 3 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon & 3 Red-Eyes Wyvern, swap in 3x Herald of Creation, a Chaos Sorcerer and uh... 2 other cards-Resk (talkcontribs) 22:44, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for jumping on you Resk. And I made the edits to the deck; I don't think I'm going to end up needing the other monsters.. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:07, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

one simple Dragon Capture Jar would stop ur deck at anytime...

So you're saying I should be worried about a card that I sided into the deck, and would give me 2000-5000 defense shields? Yeah, I'm worried about it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:56, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

why would u even have ur deck full of dragon type monsters? u dont win if u just defense

Obvious noob is obvious. So obvious it's painful. Almost as painful as his grammar. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 19:58, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

yeah obviously u r not japanese, so u should not talk about something u didnt make

Changes

I dropped all of the REDM and Wyverns. I put in 3x Herald of Creation, 1x Chaos Sorcerer, 1x Morphing jar (for hand control), and 1x Pot of Benevolence (to recycle cards like Malefic Parallel Gear, which I don't have many ways to get back). Any suggestions for the Main/Side deck, or do they look better now? Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 23:05, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

Jester Confit, Plaguespreader Zombie, Gorz the Emissary of Darkness, Battle Fader um..-Resk (talkcontribs) 23:06, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Something I think might work - maybe - could be some Mystic Tomatoes and an Armageddon Knight. The Tomatoes could block attacks, and search out either Parallel Gear for synchro shenanigans, or Armageddon Knight to easily send that Truth Dragon to the graveyard. I have no idea if this would work, though. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 02:03, January 31, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
I'll test out the Tomatoes when I get the deck all built; I do happen to have at least two in a box somewhere. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 02:17, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
Dark Grepher might work too, due to you having... a few 5star+ dark monsters in deck, though arma knight would probably be fine, Also, why do you have Pot of Benevolence?, and in addition, 2 Gold sarc might be an idea, as no other way to search Future Fusion?-Resk (talkcontribs) 12:54, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
I put Benevolence in there because I have found it useful to be able to recycle any cards, especially spells and traps. I'll test the deck with Sarc. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 20:48, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

what about D.D.R.?

That card doesn't really work in this deck, because the monsters removed can't be brought back by DDR, considering that they were never properly summoned.. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 02:13, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry if i got this wrong but, Skill Drain isn't working in a Sin/Malefic Deck because,

Nearly all of the Malefic's got this in their effect:
"There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field". Of course you can have 1 Malefic Paradox Dragon and 1 other if you first summoned the other one while having Skill Drain activated on your field,
Skill Drain Can be slow, other monsters will suffer from it. And if you don't Draw Skill Drain very soon in the duel you got your full hand with Malefics Lains (talkcontribs) 20:49, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

I think that you should remove that ban, worthless card out of your deck, due to tournament rulings. Or if you do not, then going to Traditional Format Tournament.--FredCat 20:55, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
I might be missing something fred, but what are you talking about?
To Woaha, I was running my skill drain deck at tournament at weekend, (Using Necrovalley & thus 2 splashed in Malefic Cyber End Dragon) and it usually works, not due to negating your own stuff, but because it doesn't affect your own stuff, excepting giving them another way to survive other than the field spell, as well as slowing down other decks such as Gravekeeper's / X-Sabers / Six Samurai.-Resk (Talk)
What I am talking about is the banlist... Cold Wave is in Side-deck, and if you're going to Tournament with it included, you're remove from the list. So delete the ban cards and at least put some good cards in there. --FredCat 21:20, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
Calm down FredCat, this is an old post, and I hadn't updated the decklist. Sheesh... Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 21:43, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

And Skill Drain is in the deck because it saves my Malefic Monsters if my field spell is bounced or destroyed, and I don't happen to have a way to stop it. It has worked so far. Also, it doesn't particularly change the strategy that I generally use, which is using the Malefic Monsters as a series of beatsticks. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 22:02, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

then i'm sorry, i was only looking to the Malefic monsters ^_^ . Lains (talkcontribs) 21:59, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Ugh idk why people have trouble making this type deck it really is the most simple really, anyways im not gonna give out all my secrets on this deck type yet...however one thing you can use is ectoplamser with such high atk power monsters able to be summoned every turn for no cost you can do a lot of damage with this card while also getting rid of your opponents monsters, its a win/win card letting you do normally 1200-2000 damage each turn, heck you might not even have to attack once.Raventheblack (talkcontribs) 07:22, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
