So... according to this image, this is the official Yu-gi-Oh Timeline of the series. Now, we all know that DM was the first followed by GX and then 5Ds. After that.... things get complicated. It seems that Arc-V is NOT the sequel of Zexal but they 2 alternate realities. Realities of what? Do you remember when Z-ONE in 5Ds came back to prevent Synchro summoning from destroying the world? Good, Zexal is the future in which Z-ONE wins and Yusei loses! You heard that right. This explains why in Zexal there were no Synchros at all and Xyz completely replaced them. Arc-V though it's the future where Yusei won and both Synchro, Xyz and Fusion coexists. This is not all. It appears that Shun and Yuto from Arc-V are in reality "dimension travellers". Their real world is the apocalyptic future of 5Ds where Synchros ceased to exists (that's why they are both Xyz users and that's why they both hate any other kind of Special Summon whatever it is Fusion or Synchro.) That looks to be far from official. Please display on a different website next time, like imgur, and place the link here then. Also, hating Synchros is one thing, but it makes no sense to hate Fusion Summoning too. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 00:27, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

This is an interesting thesis however. And look at the last duel Shun vs Sora. What is the chosen field? Yeah, Heartland. Zexal's main location and that's where Shun and Yuto are from. Yano88 (talk • contribs) 12:57, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry for double post. Another point to this thesis came in the last part of Shun vs Sora duel. Shun used a Rank-Up Magic to Rank-Up his xyz monster. Why nobody had a clue of what Rank-Up was?? During a festival at Heartland Academy (in Zexal) both Yuma and Brooke used Rank-Up magic cards to do Rank-Up. Why everybody from Arc-V does not know about the story of Yuma and his duels? After all that was a Duel with lots of spectators...The answer might be that Arc-V is indeed an alternate dimension to Zexal! Shun comes from that dimension and knows how to Rank-Up. • And now the Academia pops out as well and GX comes into the mix. The Academia uses Fusion Summons, is located on an island and its members wears uniforms of the same colors as Duel Academy. My opinion is that Arc-V Academia is a future Duel Academy from GX... Wow, Arc-V started quite slow but now is sure damn interesting! Yano88 (talk • contribs) 20:20, December 21, 2014 (UTC)
• They actually talked about different dimensions, and apparently the reason Yugo is working with Academia is because their dimensions are much more similar that the xyz dimension, cuz Yugi, Jaden and Yusei were all from the same dimension but each in a different era. The strange thing is that in Zexal fusion DID exist.. This is interestingly confusing, and EXCITING >:D! Game ON! (talk • contribs) 21:06, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

• • Yeah. The only logical thing about Fusion existing in Zexal is that Fusion never threatened to end the world like Synchro did. It was not a problem for Z-one so he stopped only Synchro thus forcing the Xyz to be born. Yano88 (talk • contribs) 21:17, December 21, 2014 (UTC)
