:::::"Newest set image" has been the official preference for years (it used to be "first set image", but changed at some point (I suspect I had a hand in that change, but haven't looked to see if I can find supporting diffs)). If a given image isn't clear, it means a clearer version should be found or created and uploaded, not that we should use a different version. I'm not sure there really is any advantage to using the newest set image in particular as opposed to any other image of a card; it's really more a matter of "this is what the policy says, now stop edit-warring". 「ダイノガイ千?!」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:00, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

::::::Is there any way with scripts to make a series of tabs with the different card arts on the main card page? It could allow a wiki reader to click on tabs to see the various artworks without going to the side by side comparison that is the artwork gallery. —This unsigned comment was made by Pommydragon2525 (talk • contribs) on 20:44, 24 February 2011 (UTC).

:::::::That is possible using JavaScript. We had that active for a while here before, although for every print, rather than just the alternate artworks. We didn't have a fallback for readers who didn't have JavaScript enabled, which resulted in them seeing a long line of images. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:59, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
