• Question: do cards like thuder crash/ assault on ghq etc... cause yubel or yubel terror incarnate to miss its timing because it says " When it is destroyed/removed from the field you can Special Summon 1 ......... from your hand, Deck or Graveyard." similar to Peten the Dark Clown

Thunder Crash WILL make Yubel miss the timing. :( I, myself, would base this around a warrior/fiend theme. Dark Grephers, Armageddon Knights, E-Hero Stratos (Grab Dasher), Exiled Force (Take out Yubel itself), 2 reinforcements, a warrior returning alive or two. I would add in one or two inferno reckless summon for Yubels. In addition to those Inferno Reckless, I would use Torrential or Needle Ceiling. (3 yubel + 1 opponent's monster...), No Samsara Lotus, Offerings to the doomed, Ceasefire (Good, but not what the deck needs. It unfocuses the deck), Dark Eruption, Infernal Prodigy, Dark Necrofear, Vicious Claw (Too situational...) I'd add in a treeborn frog, 1-3 Fires of Doomsday, 1 more matter transporter, 1-3 Shift, replace dark eruption with a hero emerges, one more ultimate, a waboku or two, Scapegoat, etc. I MIGHT put in Dark World Dealings, Good Goblin Housekeepings, Lightning Vortex, a card of safe return or two, a stray lambs or two. You may want to run Dark World! I was going to say run Light and Darkness Dragon, but I realized it would cause "Missing the Timing" (Select to revive, destroy the field, then revive.) Good to grab a Yubel from the graveyard, but not much use beyond that. However, The Calculator would be a nice addition, in my opinion. As 'tis, 6/10 (Lots of original and interesting ideas, but not fast enough to stand up to some decks. Signed, NDLV.

What i have found a real problem with Yubel decks is that you use so many cards trying to get out Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare only to watch it get destroyed effortlessly by Lightning Vortex or removed from the game by Karma Cut utterly defeating the point. Can anyone think of any good ways of guarding Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare without bogging down the deck to heavily?

Take a look at my page because the deck I show is my Yubel deck. I've gone through about a dozen different setups of the deck to include the Doom Shaman/Swing of Memories trick, but the current version tends to win more alot more then lose, even against seasoned pros. swing of memorysx3 and dark grepherx3 to put yubel and shaman in grave then use limit rebirth and swing to bring them back
