I'm currently need ideas to form a decklist to make a spy deck. The goal, of the spy deck is to be able to see the cards in my opponents deck and hand, anything outside public information. That is it's soul purpose. I would like to use a deck such as this to verify the decklists of the opponents in Yu-Gi-Oh! video games to help this wikia, in such a way as...not waiting till they have one card left and scroll through the Graveyard. Winning is not necessary, but as always perfered. In addition, I need ways to get past such problems as the event of Different Dimension Capsule being destroyed and the card's info lost. Thanks for any ideas, tip, etc. you can provide. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 23:35, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

In the video games when you remove a flip effect monster with Nobleman of Crossout you can look through their deck. To look at their hand, use Respect Play/Eye of Truth

Hm, theoretically, you should be able to do it in 1 turn with "Exchange of the Spirit" and "Mind Haxorz".
There's also "The Stern Mystic", "Seal of the Ancients", "A Man with Wdjat", "Patrol Robo", and "Patroid" for the field.
For the hand, try "Omega Goggles", "Diabolos, King of the Abyss", "Pikeru's Second Sight", "Amazoness Chain Master", "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin", "Fengsheng Mirror", "Mind on Air", "Ceremonial Bell", "Thousand-Eyes Jellyfish", "Respect Play", and "Ominous Fortunetelling".
For the deck, try "Dark Designator", declaring something like "Clown Zombie", or "Abyssal Designator" with something like FIRE/Sea Serpent.

You know, a good trap to have is The Eye of Truth. only downside is it increases opponents LP Terrywiz 03:35, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Mind Crush and Trap Dustshoot, anyone? --Gadjiltron 08:32, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Eye of Truth + Bad Reaction to Simochi ;)

Although double-edged: Convulsion of Nature... if I understand its effect correctly.

Could be useful: Seal of the Ancients + Spell Economics

I believe the best "spy card" is Mind Haxorz

Spy Deck Practicality

So far, this is the only thread I've seen on the topic of a "Spy Deck," a deck in which the goal is to learn which cards are in the opponent’s hand and deck (and in what order). I have been experimenting with this concept, and I was wondering if you or anyone else knew of any cards that would allow this deck to become more practical - traps, spells, or effects that rely on one's knowledge of the opponent's hand, or the next card in their deck, etc, in order to do damage or control the opponent's field. If you know any cards that would have such an effect, do you think you could post them here, or otherwise give recommendations on how I might construct a deck like this? It doesn't seem like a very popular concept, so I would enjoy seeing how it holds up.
